By sending me a PM you may nominate up to 15 users that you would like to see included in the countdown (no reasons yet please). You do not have to nominate 15 but the option is there if you wish to do so.

At the end of the week, I will count up the nominations and the 50 users with the most nominations will qualify. For example, if 41 users have 5 or more nominations then they will qualify, and then the remaining 9 slots will be filled by the first 9 users to reach 4 nominations. If the final position(s) are filled by users nominated in the same set of nominations, then there will be more than 50 users in the countdown.

Only the votes are done through pm. Some members may have stuff to tell or ask ammi for example mtvns post about opting out, members also need to see each round beginning with the instructions and deadlines etc

Asking that the chat be kept to a minimum in here is no different from what we do in other similar threads like when we quietly remove all of the chatter and thanks posts from tibb nominations.

However I'm not going to be dragged into a debate about it on the thread completely defeating the point of the request.

I don't remember one Ammi, perhaps you could think of extending the deadline for noms.

I do wish you luck with this, it is a great event but I know it can be a headache to do as well.

It used to be 10 noms and then the top ten for votes from the 50 that went through.
Then the noms figure was increased to 15, 2 or 3 years back.

So that is another idea for Ammi to consider I guess, as you say if she thinks it needs to be looked at.
