Nice Airport has been evacuated just hours after a terror attack in which at least 84 people were killed during Bastille Day celebrations in the city.
The reason for the evacuation is as yet unclear but passengers have been ordered to leave the building.
The airport has now been sealed off and military personnel can be seen inside the huge glass terminal.

The evacuation was apparently prompted by an unattended bag left at the airport.

No one forgets their bag on purpose arista. That's why it's called "forgetting" ... Harsher punishments for forgetting a bag isn't going to result in fewer bags being left .
"Oh well I was planning to forget my bag but I can't afford the fine, so I guess I better just remember it."

Do these exist?... That actually sounds like a pretty good idea. Something that goes around your wrist and then another part that goes on your bag, your wrist strap beeps if the bag is more than say 5 metres away for more than a few seconds. Let's sell them and become rich...

Well you say that but charging 40 quid for forgotten boarding passes focused a lot of minds, and no one forgets their passport or very few any way

Someone at a baby group I went to was selling something similar for toddlers that had a senor that beeped if they went too far away.
