View Full Version : Turning off the daylight

When I leave home for work, I leave at around 07:00. During the winter months, it is dark so I need to turn off the lights.
Now we have lighter mornings I do not need to turn off lights.
The trouble is, sometimes I go to switch off the light, only to realise that I am trying to turn off the daylight.
Am I the only one who does this :conf:

Sticks, I still turn on the lights anyway. Not to mention putting the teapot in the fridge on occasion.
It is all part of the human condition......:conf:....well my condition anyway............

I do admit that, on a few occasions, I've gone upstairs and then stood on the landing wondering what I'd gone upstairs for!! :bawling::bawling::bawling:

BTW does anyone say thankyou to ATMs ?
Talking of ATM's
One morning in the winter, I was at an ATM here in Newcastle i.e England. There was a queue behind me, so for fun I said "It's not giving out any Deutchmarks" (a currency superceded by the Euro) and one women gave up and walked away
I wonder if they ever twigged :hugesmile:

I bet you've done some silly things Hooly.
I'm a very polite person. I was in hospital once having my appendix removed and my nurse said that I was the most polite person she'd ever met. I was the only one that said thankyou after each injection I had in my belly.

Have you ever sat and thought about something someone said that was funny and just burst out laughing. I do that alot, infact my husband just looks at me strange now, instead of asking whats so funny.

Have you ever lost your car keys and then found them in the fridge?
have you ever driven in the dark and forgot to put your lights on, and then wonder why every other car is flashing their lights at you?
Have you ever been that desperate for a wee on the way home from some club that you piddle in the bush?

I always go into a room and forget why I was in there. I have to go back to the room I was originally in and normally I remember.
