Why did the company move to Spain?
they are in a terrible State.
They should have kept their base in England

A Couple on London Tonight ITV1HD
just said because they paid by debit card
they lost all their money .

Why do people book with companies who are not registered with ATOL

My friends parents are victims to this and their holiday was in 2 weeks time. But then it kinda serves them right, they use the most unreliable places to book things to get the cheapest deals and something always goes wrong, they never learn

Yeah I have a friend in the same boat, she got an amazing deal..now turns out only the flights were booked and paid for but not the all inclusive hotel so it's no wonder the deal was so good, at least she paid with a credit card

Feel bad for everyone affected and more needs to be done to crack down on dodgy businesses still operating despite being millions in debt and about to go tits up.

You can almost always put together a holiday cheaper booking everything individually yourself, anyway... These package deals are a rip off.

We went to Portugal a couple of years ago, came to about £1100 for 4 of us (not including spending) and that was booking our own flights, accommodation and transport to/from airport all separately. Even these "cheap last minute deal!" sites couldn't quote anything less than £1300 and that was for dirty small apartments as accommodation... We got an awesome three-bedroom villa .

Maybe I should have my own company... It would go nicely hand in hand with Toy Aeroplanes...

...see, this is why you're not a millionaire though...your company would be putting together something that people could get a better deal on by doing it themselves and that's what you'd probably tell them as well...I think that you're more of a people person than a company man, TS...I'm waiting for the news that Toy Aeroplanes went out of business../into administration or etc because you'd been recommending Ryan-Air as the cheaper option...and for Arista to buy your airline for one Scottish pound....

It depends it can be cheaper to buy the different elements separately, or it can be cheaper to buy a package deal for instance companies like Expedia are hard to beat, they also pay cash back if you go through quido so it's a question of doing research, for people who can't pay holidays off in one hit they have to buy package deals as they have the option of paying off monthly "interest free" so it's not always so black and white, the main thing is to pay with a credit card and to go with an atol protected company
