From today's Star:
BIG Brother winner Shilpa Shetty is set to fly back to the UK today on a mission to save Jo O’Meara.
Shilpa, was shocked to hear the ex-S Club babe has sunk into a deep depression.
Jo, 27, is starving herself after becoming a public hate figure over her bullying behaviour towards Bollywood star Shilpa in the CBB house.
Jo, who is on anti-depressants and a suicide watch, says her life is in ruins because of the TV show. Now Shilpa, 31, wants to visit her as soon as possible to help her get back on her feet.
Jo is living like a recluse in a hotel. She refuses to return to her Essex home and will not even step outside the hotel.
Shilpa is flying back to Britain from India, where she has been visiting her sick father Surendra, 65.
She said: “I would like to speak to Jo and make sure she is all right. I am very worried about her. I know she is a good person and I hate to think of what she is going through.
“She doesn’t have much self-confidence and I know she must be having a terrible time.
“I just want to speak to her and tell her to try to be strong. I have no ill feelings towards her. My heart goes out to her.”
