The totem is based on a Native American totem. The eagle head on top is meant to represent protection, the totem is protecting the tribe from any danger. The bottom half is decorated with shrubs and flowers to show that the tribe is at one with nature

That's not the case at all, the link to all our submissions was sent on time but then AFTER the deadline I was told I had to send a separate PM with all the stuff in it, so I rushed and put it all in, and never heard back from Reece so assumed I had done everything correctly. If I had been told that the video had not been included in the PM it would've took me like 2 secs to re-send it

Pocket mirror - can be used to reflect onto material to spark a fire primarily but another positive is many contestants motivation is weight loss and this can help motivate in challenges;

Blanket - for warmth in cold weather, an essential to keep our bodies warm and ready for challenges;

Deck of cards - Boosts morale and keeps us entertained and strong as a tribe when partaking in an exercise together;

Duct tape - can be used to put things together for shelter such as bamboo sticks or fix things such as if our boat got broke when fishing, an essential;

War paint - Not an essential but as a tribe it unites us and shows the other tribes we are ready for anything that is thrown our way!;

Flag - shows our patriot personas but its main use is to protect us from the rain, rain could result in us contracting infections and someone being evacuated this will prevent that;

Bug spray - an essential, bugs can lead to infection if you are bitten and someone could be medically evacuated which would not help our tribe in terms of numbers, it is for medical and strategic reasons.

Our tribe name means 'peace' in Hindi and is meant to represent that our tribe aims to work peacefully and harmoniously in order to slay the game

The logo builds on the peace idea. The braided golden circle represents unity and all of the tribe members working together as a team, just like braids all work together to build a structure. The jewels and the gold colour represent wealth and prosperity, what we hope our tribe will be like. The lotus flower is a Buddhist symbol for purity and serenity, qualities the Shaanti tribe needs to keep even in times of hardship in order to do the best we can and get as far in the game as possible.

The totem is based on a Native American totem. The eagle head on top is meant to represent protection, the totem is protecting the tribe from any danger. The bottom half is decorated with shrubs and flowers to show that the tribe is at one with nature

Shelter Plan

We plan to make our shelter round and structured like the image above ^



In order to make our shelter we need lots of log wood to hold everything together and produce stability to the structure of the shelter (in case of windy conditions)
To create a rounded pyramid structure, we aim to use a tree and build our shelter around that.
Unlike the photo above, we aim to collect moss to place at the top of the shelter. This is so that it helps to insulate the shelter and to produce a nice buffer zone to stop rain seeping through.
We hope to create an opening to the shelter which is where our fire can be placed (which is held up by two sturdy twigs). Naturally we have to make this opening spacey so that no castaway gets burnt, safety first!
We also need to dig a hole for some of the less glamorous activities. But remember even the Queen does it, however luckily Jayne won't have to be filmed doing it anymore come tomorrow.
