I'm not sure about this one, the trailer lacked energy tbh and plus it's Zach Snyder so

Too early to tell for me, pretty clear that they've got plenty of film but not much of the post-production done yet, hence the lack of action (Since, as you say, it's Snyder, so the action scenes will be CGI-heavy).
I watched the extended BvS last week and really enjoyed it so hopefully won't be a let down. Hope it doesn't get cut to bits for the theatrical release, though...
Also feel like The Flash has borrowed quite heavily from the CW Flash? Not that that's a bad thing necessarily, in fact good that they seem to be keeping him a lighter character than we've seen with the others (and Aquaman too, apparently). I was a bit worried that they were going to make a "darker" Flash which wouldn't sit well at all...

Would a darker Flash be such a bad idea though?
I've never watched The Flash show so I was just wondering.

In my opinion yes. I'd say DC content can in general be darker than Marvel but Flash's various iterations have always been more positive, upbeat characters. I guess it goes with his speed. He's quick / quick-witted / upbeat... his mind moves quickly too so he's full of ideas and questions... etc. Basically DC already has enough "brooding heroes" without turning a more upbeat one into another.
I guess the Marvel parallel would be if they did it with Spiderman. It's just not the character.

As you know I love Justice League and all things related... but hmm I dunno... I feel this is lacking the idk, banter? (ugh hate that word) maybe its just because I love the relationships in the Avengers and I'm just comparing it to that.
but also it has a hispanic looking wonder woman so I'm sold on that alone tbh

See I think a lot of people are looking for a "DC Avengers" but we already have Marvel for that? I enjoy both sets of films and I like that they have a different tone. I also think if they didn't, it would be inevitable that people would make too many comparisons / start accusing them of copying each other, etc.
Weirdly the tone seems to flip with the at shows though - the DC shows are pretty cheerful / colourful whereas the Netflix Marvel ones are pretty brutal... Not a lot of laughs there. I mean I thought Punisher was amazing in Daredevil but some of his scenes are jaw-clenchingly raw :joker:.
That said, Agents of Shield is pretty campy...

Not sure what's happening with this now but Zack Snyder's stood down from directing it due to personal circumstances (I think his daughter committed suicide :( )

Apparently Joss Whedon is taking over?? Maybe it will be DC's Avengers after all. Although apparently a lot of the work on it is already done, so Whedon is just stepping in to finish up the project. It does mean he'll be in charge of putting together the theatrical cut, though.
