GIRLS Aloud babe Cheryl Cole may join X Factor — because Simon Cowell wants a fourth judge in the next series.

Cheryl, 23, was to be a judge on Simon’s next show, Britain’s Got Talent, but had to pull out.

A source said: “Simon really likes Cheryl’s outspoken attitude and thinks she could brighten up the show.”
