Trash if this happens again

It would be absurd since it's clear she wasn't defending the awful things he did.

I mean she's not even condoning his actions so it would be ridiculous if she got Tila'd

Ashley.

I don't care about her, but her comments seem completely justified and wouldn't warrant an ejection. Perhaps she should've steered clear of using the term "brilliant" in this sense but I don't think she was using it in a complimentary way towards Hitler himself.

She hasn't said anything that's objectionable really.

She didn't condone or sympathise with him she was asked about his IQ and said he was intelligent to be able to run the country and manipulate people into doing the things they did!

Samm
29-07-2016, 05:35 PM
She didn't defend him and it was seven years ago so no

The dark side of human beings is very obvious, and some experience it on a daily basis, but there will always be some wanting to deny it. I wouldn't say a dictator is necessarily brilliant though, I don't think it's that hard to manipulate people. Big Brother is pretty good at manipulation, not just the HMs but most of the audience.

Celebrity Big Brother 2016: Aubrey O’Day 'faces the AXE' from the house

Less than 24 hours in, Celebrity Big Brother could be about to see its first ejectee.

Aubrey O’Day is said to be at risk of getting the boot over comments she made about Hitler in a TV interview outside of the house.

It comes a year after Tila Tequila was removed from last summer's show over a blog post she had made about Hitler three years earlier.

Now Aubrey could follow in her footsteps all because of remarks that date back SEVEN YEARS from a chat the US singer had with Fox News in 2009.

According to The Sun newspaper Aubrey described Hitler as a "brilliant man", explaining: "Can you guys say that he wasn’t? He ran a country and convinced everyone to do horrible things.”

The comments caused criticism at the time, prompting Aubrey to respond in a statement: "Murderers and dictators generally are some of the smartest people out there — they just use their brain power for evil purposes.

"I don't condone any of their evil behaviour, but I was asked about their intellectual firepower ... and in my opinion you can't have a low IQ and wreak that much havoc on the world.

“What Hitler succeeded in doing was deplorable. And I hope we never see such an abusive use of power again."

There has been no official comment from CBB bosses over the 'outrage' yet, and hopefully there won't be.

We found it ridiculous that Tila got the axe last year and it'd even more absurd if Aubrey were to end up leaving over this latest tabloid story.

For now, Celebrity Big Brother airs at 9PM tonight on Channel 5 with the first highlights of the series.

Tila condoned and excused his actions, Aubrey stated the obvious, he was an incredibly intelligent man, there's nothing wrong with that.

She didn't really 'praise' him though

The only thing wrong with that is calling him a "brilliant man"

The rest is true

That trash cow from last year purely supports him, she kept doing so even months after CBB.

Aubery, well, at least she made it clear what she meant.

"Brilliant" meaning "intellectually brilliant" or a genius... not as in "good".

I don't think there's anything wrong with what she said, Hitler was clearly highly intelligent, a fairly skilled orator and clearly a master manipulator. I doubt he was a literal genius / gifted (after all, his artwork never amounted to anything and his writing wasn't great either) but I can see how someone might think so. She's right that someone with a low IQ can't have that sort of impact on the world (without other, smarter individuals silently pulling the strings, anyway).

Stating that someone is intelligent isn't objectively "praise", intelligence isn't always an indicator of a good, compassionate or kind person. Often the opposite, tbqfh.

If she gets kicked out over that then BB needs cancelling frankly.

Nowhere did she condone his actions.

I'll lose it if she goes, it would be so ridiculous the comments aren't offensive in the slightest.

Yes, this is what people don't understand. It's not something out of context, a light-hearted joke - these were serious comments, before and after her stint in the house.
Don't sell your morals for a cheap RTV bimbo, guys. Some things shouldn't be supported for the sake of entertainment.

"Brilliant" meaning "intellectually brilliant" or a genius... not as in "good".

It was a poor choice of words regardless, because it was always going to be misconstrued (sadly).

Having now seen the clip I'm quite confident there will be no ejection - she made it abundantly clear she doesn't agree with anything Hitler did but he was brilliantly manipulative.

Tila was an ignorant slapper, who didn't have a clue what she was talking about and should have kept her mouth shut and her boobs inside her clothes. Aubrey is the opposite.
