I'm really looking forward to another dose of Reality T.V and i'm a celeb looks as though it could be very good  I wonder what they'll have to do to win food in this series :conf:

WILDCHILD

I reckon Daniella Westwood (is that her name?) will win this one, I just have a feeling. Shes the one with the most hype around her.:spin2:

kaphc
25-04-2003, 09:23 AM
I really hope she doesn't win!

Mind you I thought that about T P-T last year and then warmed to her once the show started, so you never can tell.

I think they will be keen to keep Anthony Worrall-Thompson in - after all he should be able to provide them with some decent meals!!!

Hope it is as good as the last one.

I read in the paper today that Wayne Sleep is planning on doing tap lessons for everyone which should be entertaining.

It's quite a promising cast list , I think. Heard some of John Fashanu's ex-ffotie pals having a good laugh about his love of the finer things in life and were not sure he's suited to a jungle

Tonight's the night! :hello:  :hello:

This is the latest gossip from Ananova:

Darren Day reckons I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here contestants Catalina and Chris Bisson will be the first pair to kiss on the show.

Day, who was a contestant on the first series last year, predicts the sexual tension will be electric in the Australian jungle.

And he says Chris Bisson will be a charmer and a smooth operator when it comes to playing one against another.

Day describes John Fashanu as more understanding and sensitive than many would expect, and Anthony Worrall-Thompson as the most stable of the lot, reports The Sun.

He says Wayne Sleep will be first to have a tantrum, while Danniella Westbrook will get catty with Catalina.

I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here begins on ITV tonight at 9pm and lasts for two weeks.

It will broadcast for 22 hours per day on ITV2, with Ant and Dec presenting the main show on ITV1 every night.
I'm really looking forward to this - and the extra interactive coverage on ITV2 this year should be good as well.

It was SO good tonight. Poor Fash having to pour all those beasties down his pants. I was OK with it until I saw those cockroaches crawling all over him. Yuck!!!

I agree with you, Stu, Catalina has got to go. What a fuss about a pair of knickers!!!! Hope the croc swallows her whole.

Like Phil a lot - seems a bit of a geezer but good for a laugh. Think Wayne might start to get on the old nerves in a couple of days.

John is my hero for that trial. Conquering two really strong fears to get food for his team was outstanding - he did so well.

Hope Chris is OK after his nasty fall - he's been pretty low key up to now hasn't he?

I think it's VERY early days yet but they seem to be getting on pretty well and it looks as though the mix of people could be quite interesting.

It seems good so far, good mix of people. They look like they've spent a good bit of money on the set. Bush tucker trail was really funny, the critter pants lol no one's getting on my nerves enough so far to see anyone go. Oh Tara Parma wostsit on ITV2 can go, she's wearing those daft ears again, it's rubbish would rather see more of the group than her and the other presenter doing silly phones in's with people doing animal noises. I'll stick to Ant and Deck.:dance:

They just had a challenge to give up 3 of their meals from the 10 that Catalina won, in exchange for 1 bottle of non-alcoholic wine and 2 bottles of wine to celebrate Phil's birthday.

A few more decisions like this and they will be falling out nicely ...!!

i got kind of bored. because of ant and dec. every other minute it cut back to them and it ruined last nights show for me. i dont think we need them until the end when we hear the eviction and trial person. the celebs will grow to be interesting but we'd see more of them and be totally and utterly hooked if ant and dec didnt have to interrupt all the time making unfunny comments. grrrr, just like last time!

I watched this last night and I felt sorry for John but like they said he was the leader. I was pleased for him to do the task and conqured his two fears.
I predicted Catalina to do the task.
Thanks Kaphc for clearing that up I saw that this morning but I didnt understand it.

There's is no way on this earth I would've done that task last night, it made me itch just watching it

As for Ant and Dec they do pop up to much, I think to keep the teenagers interested.

I watched the live streem last night atfer the 2nd show, which is more like watching BB, because it's live till 10.30 in the morning. more to my liking :hello: and if you don't want to stay up it's repeated through the day.

You know if the task has been done and the outcome.

It will be interesting to see in tonight's show how it has been edited :spin2:

Anyway thought you might like to know that BB3's Alison is reporting on I'm a Celeb... for This Morning.

This Morning: I'm a Celebrity Uncovered
Channel: ITV
Date: Tuesday 6th May 2003
Time: 12:00 to 12:30

Alison Hammond reports live from the jungle with the latest news, gossip and interviews. Plus last year's contestants Tony Blackburn and Christine Hamilton are live in the studio with their views on events.

It's on all that week, don't know if it's on this week.

Well done Catalina though I think I would have preferred that to last night.

However after having seen what they have tomorrow - all those rats - I'd run a mile.

I think I am going to find it quite addictive.

Amy
29-04-2003, 10:08 PM
I agree BusyBee well done to Catalina  I did'nt think she would do it but she did very well
I think the rat task is better than the croc pit, i'd rather rats than crocs :spin2:

Mairi
29-04-2003, 10:13 PM
Catalina was quite brave but I don't think she was really in any danger from the crocodiles. Didn't fancy those snakes, though!!

Poor Wayne having to face those rats. Never, never, never could I brave rats. If Rosie brings even a mouse in, I'm standing on a chair shouting "take it away"!! Give me crocodiles any day.

I didn't notice either, Kaz. I thought they were all getting on reasonably well too.

I think I'll have a guess that it's Sian though as she's very "cheerful" and that might be getting on Daniella's nerves especially if she's feeling a bit "down".

On GMTV this morning, they speculated that it mught be Catalina that Danniella is not getting on with, because they are both competing for the "totty" vote.

Wayne got TWO meals from his task!!!

Also, Eamonn Holmes was saying something this morning on GMTV about how some of the crocodiles in Catalina's task were fake. I couldn't work out whether he was joking or not?

As you can see, I am totally addicted now!!!! Great to have a live (repeated) stream to watch in the daytime, preparing me for BB4!!:spin::spin:

BusyBee
30-04-2003, 03:22 PM
Read in the paper that some of the 'crocodiles' were in fact fake, but the real ones actually had their mouths taped. However the movement of the water did attract some poisonous snakes into the water whilst Catalina was in there.

Rather her than me.

It was obvious they were fake, you don't really think they'd put someone in with a real load of crocs, she'd be dead in 2 seconds. It was the thought that made it scary. Go for it cat. :cat::laugh:finally found a use for the cat smiley.

Danielle did really well tonight with her Bush Tucker trial. She was very brave and didn't complain at all. I did think, though, that it was mean not to let her have a shower afterwards, especially as they allowed Tara to have one last year. She had to go all the way back to camp with "beasties" still crawling all over her.

When she got there, the others didn't want her to jump in the pool to wash them all off as she'd been advised to do by Ant and Dec!!! How else could the poor girl get clean???

Answers on a postcard please.:laugh::laugh:

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's trial now. Maybe Fash will get eaten by the snakes!! I agree with you, Amy. I'm beginning to go off him a bit, too. He's turned into a bit of a "winge" hasn't he?

I still like Phil the best. He's just SO funny.

I wonder who the first celebrity will be?

:elephant::elephant::elephant::elephant:

Kaz
02-05-2003, 11:05 PM
Danniella was an absolute star tonight (even though she didn't catch very many of them!)

The tasks this year are definitely much harder than last year's - Tara was hardly touched when she had her 'bug shower' last year, whereas Daniella got absolutely covered in them.

Fash is getting on my nerves as well - he was the one who told Danniella to go straight in the pool to wash off the bugs, and then next minute he was whingeing to the camera that she had 'contaminated' it. Mind you, Phil was having great fun helping her, wasn't he? :spin2:

BigSister - I have a sneaky feeling that Fash will be the first celebrity to go, unless something major 'kicks off' involving some of the other celebrities before the first vote out.

I'm enjoying this a lot! :colour:

susieq
02-05-2003, 11:38 PM
Well done Danniella - she was fab. Never in a million years could I have done that task. She was still smiling and cheerful at the end, even though she had nasty creepy crawly things all over her. Good on you Danni - you did yourself proud.

John - get a grip. He's really starting to get on my t*ts now. He's coming across as a real control freak and would probably be the token 'pub bore' in your local watering hole. You know the one we all try & sidle over to a dark corner to avoid? He's in serious danger of being the first one voted off unless he has a rapid personality transplant.

Hans Christian Andersen - sorry, mean Antony W-T. Is this guy for real? OK, he's a good laugh, most of the time, but his 'stories' get more ludicrous every minute. Are we sure he's not some sort of secret agent masquerading as a chef? Antony love, you're wasted in the culinary field, you should be out there using your undoubted talents in counter espionage.

Phil - still my star. Someone get him some cigs for goodness sake. He made me laugh so much when 'stabbing' Fash.

Catalina - the point of her is what exactly? Lost on me I'm afraid.

Toyah - quite like her although she's been pretty quiet.

Linda - Ms Dominatrix - wouldn't let her near me with any power tools, she's a bit scary!!!

Chris - cute BUT see Catalina above.

Sian - never liked her doing the weather, very schoolmarmy but seems really nice & friendly.

Wayne - barking!

He looked well spookey with that lamp up against his face, all for a couple of fags, how sad can you get, it's not as if you can eat them. He sure has a good imagination.

But I'm with the TUFFERS FOR KING CAMP.

My money is on Fash to be first out - he is sooooooooo boring and, sorry if you have a fear of heights you dont behave the way he did - not even screaming when the bridge collapsed.:shocked:

Mairi

I thought Fash was brilliant tonight. I also noticed they gave him TWO MINUTES to retrieve each star. That's a bit more like it, producers!!

Loved the mutiny as well and I can't say I blame them after seeing what nine meals looked like!!!

I think Catalina will be voted out first.

Amy
04-05-2003, 10:58 PM
I agree the food does'nt look that much but have we forgotten what the people went through in Survivor and last years i'm a celeb :conf: As Tara said tonight the food is very small but they managed to have enough left over for breakfast from their main meal, seems strange they arn't able to do that this year with the same amount of food :conf:

BusyBee

I'm a bit confused (what's new!!) :spin2:

I know we're voting for our favourites now, and whoever has the least votes is supposed to be leaving tonight, but . . . . .

. . . . . isn't Danniella going tonight, whatever the result of the vote?

Any kind person able to clarify this for me? :xyxwave:

steve_o
05-05-2003, 07:51 PM
She's an actress that girl, if she doesn't go tonight she obviously doesn't keep to her word. I'd have had more respect if she'd have gone last night myself. You don't say your going then don't do it, she'd have been better saying she was thinking of going, anyway we'll see tonight what happens.

Well, Milly, you were right and it was Sian who went first. Well done, you.

I felt sorry for Danniella tonight, Steve, because she really wanted to leave and was crying her eyes out again. I'm hoping she does stick it out, though, as I think she deserves to be there a bit longer.

Fingers crossed that Catalina goes tomorrow.

Oh and by the way, if you look at the current copy of the Radio Times, it is obvious that Sian had to be evicted last night!

On ITV1 tonight, it lists the 10:45 news and then says "Weather with Sian Lloyd"!!

Wonder if she could present it from Oz?

It seems that Tim Vincent is on standby, but I cant really see that they will introduce another 'camper' when they are in the last week.

I can't believe that Chris was voted off tonight, or that Antony was the other 'maybe' contestant.

Unbelievable!! :conf:

I thought it was a dead cert that Catalina would be on her bike tonight, especially as the programme constantly showed her mood swings and bitchy comments about all the other contestants. I can only think the public want her to stay in to cause a few arguments and bust-ups!

I'm horrified that Chris has been voted off and Cat is still there. Her performance during the 'pick me' session was stomach churning. All the hair tossing & the pout (what's that all about???) made her look ridiculous and extremely unattractive.

For goodness sake people - let's hope she goes tomorrow, I couldn't stand someone else leaving and her still sitting there preening and pouting.

I have been watching on ITV2 and there are texts across the bottom now from people syaing who they want to win etc .

Cat does get quite a bit of support, mainly from blokes (wonder why!) and so does Fash.

Phil and Linda seem to be the most popular which was backed up on a GMTV poll today.

Wayne and Anthony get some texts as well but not as many.

No one really texts about Toyah so she could be a contender to go next.

Well I got into this again last night a bit. I thought Wayne was going to go as well after Fash did so well with the eel helmet.

 Well done Fash!

GMTV's poll this morning put Lindy and Fash joint leaders with 36% each and Phil thrd with 28%. So all you Tuffers fans better get voting tonight!

I thought Wayne was quite barbed with some of his comments last night. I know he said that he is open and honest and tells it like it is, but so were Chris and Toyah and they didn't sound bitchy. He is a very funny guy but a little too childish for my liking!

What I do like about the show is that the last five in camp were the ones who have achieved the most (no disrespect Toyah but I don't know any of your songs). Anthony is a good chef, Wayne is a legendary dancer, Phil played cricket for England, Fash was a great footballer and is now an ambassador for the sport and Linda is very creative with her design ideas.

So I'm looking forward to the final tonight, but don't really mind who wins - they've all done well. :hello::hello:

I watched some of the American version of this yesterday on ITV2 (made a change from the cup final!). It looks as if it was set in the same place as IACGMOOH2 with the same suspended bridges and the same camp. Though I know it was shot earlier this year as it was announced a while ago that Chris Judd won.

Even the Bushtucker Trials that they had to do were copied for the UK show - yesterday's was the bobbing for stars one. I have no idea who most of the "celebrities" there are - the only ones I know are Chris Judd and Joan Rivers' daughter but it was still good.
