What is actually wrong with people? Blocking the aisles to try and get their bags?

Flight crew shout at travellers rummaging in overhead lockers to leave their possessions and escape the burning plane.

Cabin crew screamed at passengers trying to grab their belongings to "leave your bags" as an Emirates jet caught fire on the runway at Dubai.

Phone footage shows chaotic scenes as passengers jostle to open overhead lockers after the plane crash-landed on Wednesday.

"Leave everything, leave everything, leave the bags!" shouts a member of crew as he commands passengers to jump down the emergency slide.
Screams can be heard as people are herded towards the exits, with a female crew member - sounding exasperated - urging: "Jump! Jump Jump! Leave your bags behind!"

Hero pilot Chris Henkey criticised passengers for trying to get their possessions before escaping a British Airways plane blaze at Las Vegas airport last September.

The Dubai footage, filmed by Rehan Quereshi, shows flames taking hold as he escapes the burning jet and tumbles on to the runway tarmac.

Crying children can also be heard as panicked travellers urge others to "Go, go go!" down the slide.

Firefighter Jassim Eissa al-Baloushi died trying to put out the fire, which reportedly happened after a problem with the landing gear forced an emergency landing.

The Emirates CEO confirmed there were no fatalities among the passengers or crew, who were safely evacuated.

Wow... some people really do treasure possessions above everything else. It's hard to believe...

Imagine trying to get out of a burning plane with your kids or whatever and some ****er is blocking your way because he's trying to get his bags down, I'd knock him out :fist:

I suppose if everything you own is in a bag, you'll want that bag... but you do hope people realise that your life is worth more than whatever possessions you have have in a bag.

Who even cares about risking your own life, what about all the people you're blocking because you don't want to lose a bloody laptop or whatever?

i always pick a seat that has an easy route to an escape door .... there are a lot of weird people around and there is no way I would be dependent on them for my survival.

Any chance the ones blocking the path out were actually ISIS members? They could have been just pretending to get bags because they wanted passengers to die. This involves a plane so I think it's highly unlikely that it doesn't also involve terrorism.

You won't find a more committed troll than a terrorist.

Oh knock it off, do.

Are you planning to ridicule like this on every thread? Would you prefer it if people didn't mention terrorist at all?

You're killing serious debates.

I don't know what you mean, there's a good chance that any attack is related to terrorism or at the very least immigration, so I might as well say so. If I don't, someone else inevitably will within the first ten posts. Don't see why it shouldn't be me . Do you have it in for me or something? Seems like I can't make a post lately without you quoting it.
