This series is so flat and boring. I just ended watching the last couple of episodes and I have zero interest in whatever is happening in there.
Is this what a TOWIE/GS/EOTB series feels like? A bunch of superficial artificial bimbos and lads playing boys meet girls like we should care about their scripted romance? Their misconception of what love or actually liking someone is ridiculous. Thinking with their genitals.
Stephanie and Jez at least had a somewhat-interesting story wrapped around their showmance... This time, not only that it doesn't have any depth, we have it multiplied by 3 or 4 "love" stories.
Bear, Lewis, Marnie, Heavy, Renee, Chloe (Grant to some extent) - Do we even care about who snogged who and who fancies who and who got first with who? Does anyone even care where it all goes? Do they even care? Take your stupid love game out of the house and leave us with something interesting and less predictable.
Yes, it's BB and not History Channel, but my brain is shrinking watching it more than it should shrink.

This is why Marco being evicted first was great, it killed this plot direction before it took over BB17. This is why we should evict Bear and co. as fast as we can. Then maybe this series will stand a chance of being bearable, maybe.

And don't "so why do you watch it" me. I can watch it and hate it altogether. :hehe:

I agree, I'm a BB addict but I just ain't feeling this one :( I don't watch Geordie ***** or The Only Way is Hairspray because reality stars of their ilk have no interest for me. But sure enough, Big Brother makes sure I find out who these idiots are lol!

Exactly, this series is stagnant and will continue to be as long as the whole house dynamic revolves around Bear being a prat.

I don't want Heavy D to go yet because I want to see if he can redeem himself. I think he might be the biggest turnaround BB has ever seen because I honestly don't think he means the harm that he does.

This is true. I think a lot of people presume the show cant go on without the main character far too often, when actually its far more compelling watching the story switch in a completely fresh direction. Especially when the main character is a ****.

Great post! The younger ones with their showmances, snogging, getting drunk, talking crap and being aggressive are killing the series. If I wanted this sort of shet taking over whole episodes I'd watch Geordie shore or whatever other mess goes under the name of entertainment.

Yes, especially after a pretty good BB and it seems rather manufactured plus why does BB think we want to see most of the episode watching housemates snog each others face off? I hope some of that lot go if only we get highlights of other actually interesting stuff.
