I do get furious at him, I would be yelling at him to shut up and/or sit down at times.
He would drive me up the wall.
However he is great viewing in my opinion and honestly, some of them in there really do need some winding up just to get them to actually say or do something, anything even.

It's not funny though is it? he baits people, then intimidates and antagonises them when they react to him, he's a bully, plain and simple, I don't see how anyone could support him.
He's a little boy who thinks he's big and hard, but in the grand scheme of things, he's just a little twerp that only picks on people he knows he can get at, he wouldn't dare pick on someone bigger or tougher than him would he? see the brick wall of a security guard as evidence, people like Bear disgust me.

I find him entertaining viewing, but only because I don't think any of the rest of them are particularly "good people". They're all entirely smug and self-satisfied. And so it's fun watching them being riled up by him. Note that I don't like HIM as a person, either... but as entertainment? Yeah, it's fun :joker:.
HOWEVER... the coffee?? Did he use all of it? I would genuinely lose the ****ing rag. I'd have to go to Big Brother citing the need for a caffeine prescription, I get horrendous headaches if I don't get my morning coffee fix :joker:.

They are all morons....they all have over sized egos and they're all as back stabbing as he is, he's just more open about it....the idea of BB is that people are put in the house and BB test their endurance and patience and ability to deal with challenging situations....unfortunately on CBB that doesn't happen and BB hardly challenge them at all ...so Bear is actually doing BBs job for them.
Instead of surviving big brother they're having to survive Bear  they should employ him on their task team.

Exactly, the reason they hate him so much is that he challenges their egos,, their self-importance and their ability to "rise above it" and keep their cool like they feel they should be able to as "the better people", which they are just not. One of the things that summed it up for me was Biggins going and him saying "Meh, I don't care" and the rest of them being like ":( waaah I do though". They DON'T, it's crap, if anything they're salivating at their chances to win increasing slightly, and that's it.

I thought the same....everyone saying they felt sorry for Biggins and Bear saying he didn't give a f-ck...they look like the good guys and Bear looks like the bad guy again...when the reality of the situation and the shared opinion of the majority of viewers is that Biggins views are deplorable....so who looks real and who looks fake when you way up the housemates reactions ....weather intentionally or not Bears response to Biggins departure was the smart one and the honest one.

The reason why Stephen Bear is not at all funny is that his aggression is there to see just bubbling below the surface. A really funny person would not do pranks that have a violent edge to them. If Stephen Bear floats your boat Vanessa, then I hope you will take along that Security Guard as the boat Captain...becuase he would sure as Hell turn on you eventually.

Oh yes! The more I see of Bear and Lewis, the more I agree with you. If they want to be part of a 'squad' let's see how they would cope in the real world!
They would both be wimpering pathetically like Bear was in the diary room, and shaking uncontrollably like Lewis was in the pool last night, because neither have the balls to deal with things when roles are reversed! Funny how Bear expects everyone to cope with what he throws at them, but he couldn't even cope with being locked in the diary room temporarily!

Bear is providing entertainment, if you can call it that. At least he DOES something though.
However, he is THE classic example of someone who can 'Dish it out, but cannot take it back'
In fact, Saira is quite similar. She dishes out judgment and aggressive conversation but woe betide anyone who DARES to judge or raise their voice to her.
I can see what she means by her and Bear being similar

You are so right, Daffodil! You can see it in his eyes and in his body language. He clearly had a massive chip on his shoulder about something, and as he doesn't have the maturity to address it, he is doing so by hitting out at the world.
Just imagine that boat trip! He would start by repeatedly flicking water in your face, and continuing even after you'd asked him numerous times to stop, because he was just having a laugh. He'd then move on to pressing sandwiches into your face as you tried to eat them and then squashing them into your hair! And he'd continue even when you told him it wasn't funny, as he would only be mucking about. How very, very funny would those little pranks be!? :laugh2: When you started to get irritated by his wind-ups, then he would just belittle you and mock you for not being able to take a joke. This would repeat itself until you told him you'd had enough, and then he'd get angry and throw his oars at you before pushing you into the water.
But it would all be okay as he would say sorry afterwards, immediately before starting the process all over again. But that would be okay because it's amusing and entertaining!
