With him being ejected from CBB does that mean he loses all rights to be a national treasure?

Nah i don't think being kicked off a gameshow will do that.

Nope. It's all just a load of fuss about a bit of gallows humour and a silly old mans views on bisexuals. OMG how we all love drama - we all need to get a life, yeah, me included, for even watching BB or talking about it.
No, I think the lack of comments actually being shown saved him tbh

The undeserved title of national treasure will be what has kept the damning footage covered up. Anyone else would have had the comments shown and then thrown to the wolves.

Well I like him more than when he went in because of the dignified way he handled his exit.
What a gent he is.

He is a national treasure and always will be.

Imo, he's about as much of a national treasure as Jim Davidson who not only also got kicked off of a game show but had operation yewtree allegations. I think it's a shame with Biggins so hopefully he can come back like Jim did.

No. Nobody watches or cares about this chavfest of a show. people wont even know and those that see it in some red top rag will instantly ignore it when they spot its something to do with BB anyway.

Never thought about him that way, so no.

I'm baffled as to why anyone would think him a national treasure in the first place.

I don't think he ever had it

I think this too, I never thought of him as a national treasure and he's pretty irrelevant to be that.

Never was one...not even close....not done enough to earn the title .....i hope his career isn't finished but I'm guessing he won't be at Manchester Pride in three weeks time

I take an instant dislike to anyone who is described as a "National Treasure". "The Nation's Sweetheart" is another one that instantly makes me think "arsehole".

Well it's not like a Knighthood which is appointed by the Queen. If Cheryl Cole can punch someone in a nightclub bathroom whilst being racist and still become the Nations Sweetheart then I'm sure he'll be fine.

She wasn't really the nations sweetheart until 2008 when she became a judge on XF.

I doubt he will be able to command the high fees he usually gets after this...not for some time anyway until people forget...

No, cause the majority of his fanbase, are likely those who don't watch big brother
Plus his comments haven't been shown in full, so many are still screaming 'injustice' which protects him

It was misplaced in the first place. He's done nothing to warrant such an accolade, same as Cheryl Cole.
He's in the same league as Bryan Blessed, who both think that being able to project one's voice amounts to acting.
He's always been a bit part player in whatever he's appeared in apart from pantos a truly undeserving tag, the likes of Ronnie Barker will be turning in his grave with Biggin's claim that he starred in Porridge, talk about he survivors re-writing history!!
