Why does talk like a backward child, especially in the diary room. My three year old grandson has a better command of language than he does. I find his voice so irritating I have to turn the volume down on the tv.:fist:

It's an attribute to his 'Bear' persona he's trying to shove down the viewers and housemates throats.

It is so tragic though because it's obvious he does it on purpose and there's nothing witty or intelligent about it whatsoever.

Oh lord yes! I was just saying that earlier at home. :laugh: Except you could make out what FS was saying - Bear talks as if his lips are frozen or something and half of what he says is lost on me, which isn't such a bad thing I suppose....

People cannot help how they talk, like you I can maybe kind of cringe at times but that would not be a reason to dislike someone.
How he talks does not bother me at all.

Frankie who is my actual favourite, can be perhaps irritating too how he talks at times but I just accept that is how people are.

that was my main bug bear at first - i love joe swash! but to hear what sounded a lot like his voice saying what is was and how it was... it was like a reversal of character!

I really thought this was a mistake and you were talking about Heavy....I never have any problem at all understanding what Bear says and often what he does say makes me laugh cause it's sharp and witty ....I think where people live affects what accents they hear clearly....I can't understand hardly anything Heavy says and when I do it seems unintelligent
