Why did Nikki dislike Maddy so much?

In the House, she referred to her as "the poisoned one", and in interviews and stuff after she said she would be friends with everyone but her. I think other HGs have given her more reason to dislike them, so why Maddy?

Maddy was just really negative about everything and everyone in the house. She was a bit of a brat too. Nikki had moments where she liked Maddy (like when Kelsey came back and they were both against The Third Wheel alliance) though, but that was mainly due to the situation they were in.
