I wonder how her two friends are getting on, how do her family know what's going on with her though?

they clearly have communications channels, which is a bit suspect in itself. They knew for example previously that 2 of the 3 girls had married, yet weren't prepared to say which two. The whole thing stinks if you ask me.

It seems incredible to me that communication is just brushed aside as if she is in Tenerife, I've just heard on the news that the family have a lawyer.. what do they need a lawyer for? People go missing every day of the week lawyers aren't appointed to the families

i think they must be or have been suspected of having terrorist connections, hence they won't say anything not approved by a lawyer.

Her family have a Right to Care
they had no idea the 3 girls were leaving for Turkey
which then led to Syria to be Jihad brides

Exactly this. It must be awful for the families in these situations (and I'm not gonna be so quick to accuse people of being in league with terrorists before that's known to be the case).

I think you can take an educated guess that the family were not exactly flying the Union Jack on top of their house

I'm glad this thread is about ISISes and not people, for a second I was confused, and thought it was about a human and I was like "wow, some of these responses are ****ing shameful, what a bunch of hateful, spiteful, fearful cretins" but then I realised it wasn't about a people it was about an terrorists or maybe a turtle.

Whew.

As you were.

I honestly can't bring myself to feel a shred of sympathy for her. I expect her parents are devastated, but none of us know what teachings went on before her sudden departure. I respect their grief for the loss of a child.

Not being able to find any sympathy or empathy is understandable, but people gloating or celebrating or feeling pleased at the death of, essentially, a naive child who made a horrendous error... Well. That is what it is. I'd be banned for saying what it is.

IF it was a person that is, we have established that it was just an Isisling.

This about sums up my own feelings about this Anaesthesia.

Hopefully a bit of a wake-up call to anyone else in a similar position thinking of going over for the same reasons, sad as it is.
