View Full Version : Bottom 2 to face "game of chance" [Emma to enter the house]

A twist has been confirmed for tonight’s third Celebrity Big Brother summer 2016 boot-out which will see one of the nominees evicted from the house by chance.

After Renee saved herself on last night’s show, Bear, Chloe, James and Marnie are now in the firing line, with viewers currently voting to save.

However, while the two housemates with the most votes will be saved, Channel 5 has confirmed this afternoon that the bottom two will participate in a game of chance to determine which of them will be evicted.

This is expected to be the conclusion to this week’s ‘Big Brother’s Big Risk’ shopping task, which has seen housemates participate in games of chance to win rewards and forfeits.

Emma Willis hinted at the twist on Tuesday’s show, saying: “On Friday one housemate will be left paying a hefty price.”

During the task, Renee, James and Marnie all had the chance to win a save and replace power – but only Renee was successful in winning it. As he faces every eviction due to his eternal nomination, Bear was ineligible to take part.

The twist plays out in tonight’s live show at 9.00pm on Channel 5 and TV3.

Viewers should complain about this. They should make it clear what you're voting for when the lines open and we were led to believe that the person with the fewest votes would be evicted. Instead, if this is true, it could be one of the bottom 2. Possibly a person who had a lot more votes than the person with the fewest.

You can't change what people are voting for 18 hours after the lines have opened

Pretty sure they can get in trouble for misleading voters here. At no point were voters told the bottom 2 would face off. We were led to believe that it would go ahead as normal and the person with the fewest votes would be out

So James is gone then.

They really want the foursome in the final.

Epic.
12-08-2016, 03:11 PM
Ok now you people REALLY need to start voting for James.

I'd laugh if bear/Marnie get evicted in a game of a chance against Chloe. Though let's be fair, if it's Bear vs Chloe they'd definitely rig it for Bear to stay in. If it was James against Chloe though, they'd probably try and save Chloe.

If James if top 2 then this is fine. Means Marnie or Bear can go and they are a bigger threat to win. If he isn't then I'm gonna fume.

I've started a thread on this, because I feel it deserves its own. But I do not believe they can change the rules of what people have been spending money on voting for at this point. They would be guilty of misleading viewers if this was true.

has it actually been confirmed anywhere by the production?

It's not just a case of they "should". I believe they have to do that. I am quite sure Ofcom would rule that they had misled voters.

I wish people would stop worrying about who is going to go and realise that what they are doing here is against trading standards.

You simply cannot change what people have been led to believe they are voting for mid way through a vote.

Bear>>Marnie>>James>>>>>>Chloe

So they know Chloe is cert to go but James will be bottom 2 so done this

lewis111
12-08-2016, 04:06 PM
Saira was 2nd on her poll

And Marnie has so many Geordie Shore fans who will vote without even watching much f the show and won't vote in the polls
And Bear would stay over any housemate
Pretty sure James is bottom2

lewis111
12-08-2016, 04:07 PM
Surely if the producers had to sacrifice one member of the rat-pack it would be Chloe so if the bottom 2 was say Marnie and Chloe they would just scarp the twist cause Chloe is obviously last

Can you guys get over this idea that they've done this to get James out and all will be fine providing he stays in.

They have misled the voters on exactly what it is they have been voting for. That ought to be the issue here.

OFCOM is not so much for complaining about things that offend you on telly, it is for things like this. They CANNOT change the rules of a vote having led people to believe they were voting for something else. Not without serious consequences.

And yet all of you care less about that than you do them misleading people who have spent money. What is wrong with you?

Serg
12-08-2016, 04:25 PM
Marnie doesn't have that much Geordie Shore following, people don't like her as much as Originals (Char,Gaz,Scotty,Vicky) and when Charlotte said on twitter please vote for her many of top comments were "I usually vote but she's a slag" :D

I just hope James is top 2. But they will fix it so he goes and Rats stay in.

Nancy.

And she could stay over someone who got a lot of votes

So many twists :joker:

Does my head in Luke, I detest that word now I really do, and it's all down to BB and their endless use of them now.

Really sick of the seemingly endless things.

Who is last should go out, no matter who they are, the public have spent money trying to save people, not possibly have the one they didn't vote to save kept in by default.

Yaki da
12-08-2016, 05:16 PM
How are they misleading voters, you are voting to save so the one with the most votes stays the rest they can do what they like with?

They are misleading because they have not told us how many we can save. When I'm A Celebrity do things like this they make sure to tell people if there's a challenge between the bottom 2 BEFORE lines open.

The fact is, they did not inform viewers what they were voting on until 18 hours AFTER the lines opened.

Until then, everyone voting has just assumed the person with the fewest votes was going to go. Hence the reason Chloe had become such a huge favourite to be evicted.

I agree, the people are voting to save their favourites, this is only a single eviction so people voting know they would need to get their favourite in the first 3 out of the 4 up obviously.

It would and should be shocking to maybe have a housemate that someone spent more on to keep in, being put out over someone who was the one with the least votes.
It those who are voting whose money and votes are for to save, not BBs money.

Sorry but what have they done wrong here? They did the same thing in the last series of BB, changed it to a vote to save so that they could manipulate the bottom 3, and this time they're doing it for the bottom two

People are voting to save, which only implies that the person with the most votes will be saved.

It doesn't imply anything else, so they haven't done anything wrong.

I think it's fair to be miffed if your votes have meant that someone who finished 3rd in VTS, and was safe, gets evicted over whoever was bottom.

He's wrong there. And why he would know the rules when he's just some guy with a website is beyond me. Ofcom decide if they are in breach, not the owner of a fan site or the Channel.

It is perfectly clear that voters were not informed that the vote they were involved in would result in only the top 2 being saved rather than the top 3 as it would usually be, until 5 pm this afternoon. There is no possible way the voters were not misled unless they specifically stated this before lines opened, they did not. Voters were clearly under the assumption that the person with the fewest votes would leave up until then and Channel 5 did nothing to make them think otherwise until hours after the vote began.
