The Aubrey thing is so ****ing random, or have I missed something?

Pretty much unanimous Heavy/Lewis votes except for him...was a bit of a shock

That was certainly a stab in the back....

I was never a fan of James but that was some serious ****. No wonder Aubrey is pissed off...

It showed that he really is playing a game and trying to get the 'strongest' out first so he can actually win. Aubrey's speech to him and her diary room about him were brilliant :clap1:

I didn't actually hear his reasons for nominating her, did anyone? If so what were they?

I didn't say it wasn't okay or a bad thing - but maybe he should be honest about seeing Aubrey as a threat instead of stating false reasons if that is the case.

I don't think James noms were so bad,he said she came across as one of his children telling him what to do,she does kinda lecture a bit ,we don't see everything ,maybe she came over patronising to him, someone like James would not be too impressed with being told what to do.He did try and tell her his reasons I think, but like so many others gone before her they don't want to listen.Plus Katie nominated James ,so why isn't that one being questioned?

He nominated her because the other day when she was encouraging the other housemates to vote for Bears clique...she held court and she told James not to speak because he has a loud voice. You could tell by his body language he didn't like the tone of the conversation or being told what to do.
I quite like Aubrey but I think she has taken it upon herself to lead the troops and he said it was like being told by your daughter what to do.
I was surprised by his nomination...but he had a reason and he gave it.

He doesn't see her as a threat...she's obviously a bit bossy and was telling the others what they had to do by putting Lewis, Marnie and Chloe's 'head on the blocks' every time so they could break them down. Obviously James felt he was being told what to do and didn't like it.

It was random, but he's entitled to his nom, i think he was being a bit tactical (possibly knew she wouldn't be nommed so i would be a none nom). She did react badly though but if what she said was true and if they have had good convos then i can sort of understand her being a bit pissed.

Agreed. I struggle to like her as I find her incredibly patronising. I also found it uncomfortable watching her attempt to play mediator with Renee and Bear in the garden after that nom instruction chat. I think she's also quite shifty with her alliances when it suits. His reasons were pretty much how she makes me feel as a viewer. The ott Jesus rant just validated it for me. I'm sure Jesus never gobbed in the fish to help feed the five thousand. Sanctimonious and shifty Imo.

James has basically become big headed because his survived a 1 on 1 vote, and topped the four way vote.

I don't like Spitter by any means, but as I said about James Hill in CBB16 when he nominated Austin, you do not under any circumstances nominate an ally over an enemy on BBUK.

I agree...the mediator bit with Renee and Bear was uncomfortable. Why did she do that?. She dislikes Bear as much as Renee and put Renee in a compromising situation....that's the very thing James nominated her for. Treating older capable people like they are,not capable of doing things they want to do.
Even Renee tonight told her to offer Bear her food...why?...he made the decision to order crap and they both said he would just have to starve.
I have to say that both of them along with Frankie hate Bear one minute but pander to him the next...
Aubrey may have been disappointed with James nomination tonight but didn't want to take on board what he was saying.

Only reason she wanted James to stay last Friday was because she wanted the other three to go....as soon as than the Gang of Four and Heavy are all gone she would nominate him in a heartbeat.

That's cool, but why didn't he speak to her about it instead of nominating her? Seems like he just took the cowards way out rather than addressing his issue and trying to sort things out.

I don't think that,i am sure James is just jesting about himself winning,he has that type of humour, you can see he smiles when he says it,James nomination of Aubrey was quite understandable if only she had listened to his reasoning.

James prob thinks he's been around a million years longer than she has and has repeatedly been saved from eviction by the public so why does she think she's better qualified than he is to condescend to tell him how to play the game.

I don't know if James thinks his gonna win, but his a lot more confident than he was before he topped that last vote, there's a demeanor change in him and I'm not sure if I like it tbh.

And with Aubrey she's an idiot, but an idiot that James could deal with once the people that actually want him out are evicted.

Just because James's older doesn't mean his wiser or smarter than Aubrey.

Age is just a number, older people tend to forget that and end up patronising us younger people, I can say that I've experienced it first hand.

The problem is she never listens. She badgered Renee until the leftover food was offered up. Renee could only save face by explaining that she wouldn't want to see food wasted. No support in the face of hms wasting food budget money and selfishly throwing other food about. I actually believe Renee broke down in the garden chat because Aubrey switches so much which creates trust issues with Renee. I wouldn't trust Aubrey or Frankie one iota. Shifty.

Aubrey is always trying to tell them what to do ,did you not see her trying to mediate between Bear and Renee ?

I strongly dislike Aubrey, and I know what you're saying as a viewer.

But if I was in James shoes who has Aubrey as an ally, I wouldn't nominate her because his now gonna have to make sure that she doesn't do any food or drink for him now.:joker:

He should have done...maybe he did. We don't see everything as you know. However, when Aubrey held 'that meeting'...sending Frankie to distract Lewis in the bathroom so she could discuss it with James and the others, James laid back on the seat, having been told not to speak cos he has a loud voice, not really interested in being told what to do.
His body language said it all. James is a mature man...not interested in all the gameplay and will make his own decisions.
