Favourite old school season of BBUS?

I won't include BBUS1 as it's an entirely different game.
By old school I mean pre Grodner take over, meaning BB2-BB7.

My two favourite seasons are BB6 and BB3, I can never decide. Both have such compelling characters and villans, with a lot of drama and also a lot of gameplay.

BB3 ending probably slightly tarnishes it, giving BB6 my vote.

My order would be;

BB7
BB4
BB5

I loved Jun, Jee and Alison in BB4, but it kinda just fell flat and was a bit boring tbh, the boot order is quite good however and the ending feels good, the series was missing something though.

I really enjoyed BB5, but halfway through the season I almost gave up, but when I look back at it I remember all the characters and moves so clearly, but at the time I didn't like it... I don't know why strangely enough.

Also BB7 was enjoyable, but a bit of a let down/was quite predictable at times. I'd rank BB10,BB11,BB13,BB15,BB17 probably above all of these 3 for myself

Although the top 3 may be by favourtie 3 seasons, with BB10 and BB11 following suite.

I first started watching BB10 on TV. Watched BB11 the next summer and decided to watch BB8 and BB6 online before the others - never could enjoy it as much as these 4 first seasons

The only ones I've seen are BB4 (not even half of it), BB6 and BB7. BB7 and BB6 are close but I'd go with BB7 as the best one.

I've only watched BB6 entirely (gasp!), but I have also seen bits of BB5 and quite like both seasons.

BB3 without a doubt. All of those seasons are good except 7 though.

I cant stand All Stars for some reason and I found season 5 to be painfully dull tbh. The other 4 are good, but love season 2 because I like the cast the best.

For what it's worth, BB5 is a seriously underrated season (and on another day I'd put it ahead of 3), while BB4 doesn't get enough criticism for actually being pretty boring

I agree about BB4, i think it suffered from the cast. It had some really good cast choices [Jun, Alison, Jee] but suffered majorly with the likes of Erika/Jack/Robert making it far, who all sucked.

BB5 also I found a bit boring....
BB4 and BB5 suffered a bit being between BB3 and BB6 which were great eventful seasonss

Put in spoilers incase anybody wanted to watch the seasons unspoiled in future :bigsmile:

1. BB2 - A top 5 Reality TV season for me. Great characters with brilliant arcs throughout the season, no PoV (which I'd be in favour of for future seasons tbh :eek:) leaving us more focus on the Houseguests themselves, heaps of conflict, betrayal and Autumn Daly, what else could you need?
2. BB3 - Possibly also in my top 5. An almost flawless cast (Tonya shade), blindsides aplenty, heaps of funny moments and stays consistently entertaining until the very end.
3. BB5 - A great season with plenty of good characters and memorable moments, but it never really clicked as a season enough to make me love it.
4. BB4 - A good season but really falls flat after Nathan gets evicted despite the constant power shifts.
5. BB6 - I get the appeal but for me there's nobody likable or rootable enough for me to get invested. I think Ashlea would actually make my top 5 by default.
6. BB7 - Too BB6/Chilltown centric with many superior houseguests getting eliminated early in favour of a Boogie/Erika final 2.
