I dunno if that puts many people off causing trouble though. Some for sure but I've seen plenty of trouble from people who are drunk or on drugs as it is, I don't know how well they'd consider that they're on camera. Just the other day I saw a guy who was either mentally unwell or on something smash his can in a man's face (completely randomly) before running off the tube and it was mid afternoon. I don't think I'd feel very safe late at night.
Also I wish they'd have invested the money on better access for disabled people instead. The underground system is still shockingly outdated in that respect and would have been a much more worthwhile improvement imo.

I've always wondered why there would be no late night/early morning tubes running through London.
LT makes a good point though. This could potentially result into quite a bit of trouble. The tube is obviously a great mode of transport in terms of how easy it is to use and the destinations you can get too, but I can see why people would feel unsafe using it late at night.

I'm sure you can look after yourself  but there's lots of other people who might not be so tough. I'm not even against it in principle, I just think there's far better things they could have improved with the money (but people generally don't care about the disabled when there's convenience to be had), and I think it will definitely be an increased danger for a lot of people.

I don't know, arista. The main thing I think of 'Night Tubes', is the significant number of drunken people who will be using it as transport. Shift workers can't do anything if there's a drunken fight on the tube whilst travelling.
I know some of this stuff could happen during the day-time too, but I think there's an increased risk to someone's safety with this idea.
