I put 'hate him' which is a bit strong, he actually seems lovely and I know someone who worked with him who said he's the nicest guy, but judging him solely as a presenter, I think he's among the worst of the worst

He's not an awful presenter, considering his lack of experience, but he's not good at interviewing. However... Emma Willis is also not the best at the more formal interviews, or tbh any of the main show stuff, whereas she was an excellent BOTS host :shrug:. Should have left her there.

I agree, Jason. I like him as a presenter. I just hate what the producers have done to BOTS - there's too much geeing-up of the (often largely geriatric) audience and reliance on dreadful panel regulars, like Nikki Graham, Leslie Joseph and 'Dame' Judy James.

I don't think he's totally bad as an interviewer- he has a more friendly, humorous approach which enables him to sometimes tease a little more out of housemates than Emma does.

BOTS seems to be light hearted nonsense a lot of the time, and he seems quite suited to that.

Rylan is brilliant. He has a great personality and shows it whilst presenting but isn't too overpowering. Despite his personal opinions of the housemates he never lets it show (unlike Emma's blatant bias) and treats everyone equally and gives them an opportunity to explain themselves instead of interrupting them (again, unlike Emma). Awesome presenter and interviewer, I wish he presented the actual show.

Russel Brand is the exact same type of person and I also loath him.

the show is appalling and its his fault mainly, though i think emma wasnt great either. he cant get 1 single answer out of anyone without a fake laugh a fake interruption a fake laugh....interviewing and presenting are 2 different skills

Absolutely adore him. I don't watch BOTS very much so can't really comment from that perspective, but I loved his BB season and really fell in love with him on Masterchef :) He's a very talented guy.
