Have you dyed your hair before?

Anybody on here mixed with colours? :)

The first time I dyed my hair was black a big mistake, after a few weeks I hated it, it didn't match me with my skin tone and my colourful personality.

I removed the blank fully around 5 months ago then left it and bleached my hair and toned it to a platinum blonde, that's where i'm at right now I need to switch it up soon though I have terrible roots.

I've had my hair bleached for last 25 years, its been all colours , two tone etc.. if you use permanent roots will be the bane of your life cos there's no way of getting away from it ! Its hairdressers -if you can do away with them its fine, i buy all i need on ebay and i have cut my own hair for last 25 years and i get a mate to bleach it. Decisions -

I stick to steel/platinum these days but currently I am sporting a pastel blue colour.

I have had all sorts,lol I am currently blonde,but do like that deep scarlet colour that is going around,not sure I am brave enough,but I'm tempted.

I used to, sister and I went all goth and dyed our hair black, went lovely with the dark lipstick.:laugh:
Then we both went blonde, now when I say blonde, I went orange and she went green, we were clueless and didn't realise you had to strip the old dye out first.:laugh:
Been a load of different colours since now settled for a couple of different shades of grey.:joker:

I used to Bleach my hair (or sometimes just bits of it ) and then use that Crazy Color stuff over the top of the bleach so it was like super bright Red or Purple and Blue once.

When I was younger I used t do it myself so have had my hair every colour of the rainbow :laugh:

Now though its always the hairdresser that does it and they use a bleach

A few times, but I like my natural hair color (ash brown). It lights up substantially with sunlight to be more blonde and we get plenty of sunlight where I live year-round.

The colors I want to do anyway would require bleach and I think that wreaks havoc on your hair. My hair is long and I always get compliments on how healthy my hair is. When it starts to grey, I will probably start coloring or maybe even consider a wig

Yes. I'm naturally dark (like really dark in both hair and skin tone) and I remember asking a hairdresser's advice on going blonde and she advised against it, but I found someone who would do it, but it went an awful burnt orange colour. It looked like i'd been swept up in a tornado full of red brickdust. :laugh: Not a good look at all and one of my biggest ever regrets.

Been constantly changing hair colour for the last year now. December 2016 I went blue, then 2 months later I went red, then I went black, then I went black with blonde highlights, then I went blonde (although it turned out more gingery eek), then I went purple, then that washed out to create a bronzey sort of colour (I EXTREMELY DISLIKED THAT), and then I went back to black. Black & Blue were my faves.

I'm blonde and I once dyed mine dark brown and it looked HORRIBLE. I was so upset as I looked so pasty faced and it just didn't suit me whatsoever. These days I just dye my hair a lighter blonde than my natural blonde.

Never have and never will, your hair will get damaged if you dye your hair too much and wigs do exist for a reason...
