He must be the only one who doesn't play to the camera, hes a decent bloke,he is someone I could be in the house with, after all bear has done in the house,Ricky still took the time to sit and talk with him over the Lilly issue

He is creeping up Bear's arse because he is frightened of him. Ricky seems like a very shallow, scared individual.

I don't see that in Ricky at all, afterall he has already told Bear what he thinks of him,if he was scared he wouldn't have done that and he is far from shallow.

He explained some of that tonight and people have done much worse like housemates performing sex acts on National TV:shrug:

modern world, daffodil - it's hardly unusual and not all it was blown up to be.

skype is the way a lot of partners keep in touch when apart, especially long distance relationships. a sex act on skype is no biggie. honest

I think that Bear actually maybe more scared of him, Bear has shown that doesnt know how to handle people who are nice to him or decent in any way.
He knows that Ricky is everything he is not, and may well be jealous of the fact that the other housemates are at ease with him, whereas they arent with him. Bear also knows that people like Ricky are more likely to win, than people like him are. Anyway Ricky is definitely not scared of him, actually I dont think any
of them are anymore, they are all finally seeing him for the b*****D that he truly is. What a pity that his fans, are still defending him. Anyway time to go and give Ricky a few more votes.

So why did it get him into trouble? Why was he sacked from Eastenders?

the marajuana - not the 'sex act' - is what got him a 2 month suspension, after which he worked for another (i think he said) year or so before his contract came to an end and wasn't renewed. that is not technically the same as being sacked.

Yes I saw it, but he skirted around it and never went into details. I was trying to make out what he was going on about. It wasn't an explanation, just a load of non-specific gabble.

I don't watch the soaps , but Ricky did say tonight he was supposed to only get a contract for three months it last six years I think , he also said, his contract finished and wasn't renewed, that's hardly the same as being sacked..

Cant stand him and I used to be a fan of his. I know you dont have to be 'in your face' or 'wild' to be a good housemate but constantly sitting in corners and having little or no opinion on anything is a waste of space as far as I am concerned. Yes he spoke to Bear about Lilly but really he hasnt offered much to the show one way or another. My biggest disappointment this year. Sorry

it wasn't hard to :D and he's not about to go into the sordid details just for those hungry to hoover up a bit of gossip - unlike marnie/lewis and co.

Because he was explaining it to Renée, who I believe lives in the US ?

FFS this has been used for EVERY housemate who has not ignored Bear for the entire duration and it is getting tedious now. I can't stand Ricky at all, but to say he is scared of Bear when he was one of the only ones early on who stood up to him...is as ridiculous as Sam claiming shes the onlyh woman who ever stood upto him whilst talking to Renee.

I agree, mine too.

I hoped for a great deal from Ricky as a housemate but he has been a real misery all through, even in the lighter moments there have been, all I have seen is him in the background with a fixed expression on his face.

Mind you, he very nearly laughed tonight in the highlights, just nearly mind.

Because anyone who says "good" that somebody is crying is suuuuch a gentleman.

Bear believed that Ricky was living up to his 'good guy' image for once and even though they don't get on, was there for him because he was upset... If only he knew.

..he seems like a nice guy but I do think that he's controlled his emotions really carefully and wonder if the CBB house has been right for him or that he's been emotionally ready for it yet with stuff he's been through...

I would agree with what Ammi said above, I don't think we've actually saw the real Rick in there but he does seem nice.

Saying that, I actually struggle to pay attention to him a lot of the time his eyes actually mesmerise me :o

..I think that's understandable though, caprimint...I think that it was good that Bear was being forced to face a painful effect of what he had done and had done it on his own terms and in his own way/quite publicly and humiliating for the person who had placed trust of love in him...so his tears were at least a realisation that he had hurt someone very badly and a good thing that he'd also showed emotion, which I think was what Ricky was meaning..but like other housemates as well..(and despite how unhappy Bear has made some in their time in the house just for the heck of it..)...they still realise the inappropriateness of any criticism directly to him while his emotions were still so raw and exposed...a time and a place etc and that wasn't the time but understandable that they acknowledged with each other how awful he's behaved with Lillie....

..he reminds me of Morgan in TWD and his 'enlighten-ment of calm'...and sometimes you're just screaming, no Morgan (Ricky)..just kill the buggers...

...(obviously no actual killing condoned though..)....
