In winter you can-not bother with clothes and just wear a coat, not shave, curl up with a cuppa, read a book by the fire.

Colder weather
Darker mornings and nights
Halloween
Christmas
Those mornings when all it's cold and frosty
Orange leaves all over
Snowy days (when we get snow anyway)
September to December is the best time of year by far imo :flutter:

The only good thing:
Christmas, and the build up to it. Oh, and the slim possibility of snow

I love them! I hate it at the height of summer when it's light at like 4am.
..I love waking up in the dark and seeing the day break through....I like the rain and seeing the frogs in the garden...the Autumn colours/gorgeous and being able to wear jackets again..Autumn/Winter wardrobes.....and being able to make soup etc again because it's not too hot...Halloween and seeing the children get all excited about trick or treating...Great British Bake-Off time of year......having pj and movie days because it's cold outside and snuggling indoors etc...Autumn and Spring/the two changing seasons are my favourite.....

No hayfever
No hayfever
..oh yeah, that as well Chewy...that's the only downside of Spring and the blossoms...mind you atm, the manure spreading on the fields isn't good either and brings on the migraines.....
The colours, everything looks so beautiful :flutter:
Walking along and hearing the leaves crunch under your feet.
Knowing that it'll soon be Halloween, bonfire night and then Christmas season :amazed:
Homemade soups and stews etc (admittedly the few extra pounds that creep on during these months aren't so great ahaha)

The build up to Christmas, the sky getting darker around 5pm, the atmosphere, the weather, the surroundings in Autumn are beautiful oranges and browns, easily the best times of year.

There is so much I love about Autumn/Winter. I'm not a sun person, so a crisp cold day feels wonderful. I love cold weather food too. Thick soups, treacle sponge and custard, beef casseroles and baked potatoes.
Being able to forget about cutting the grass and wading through piles of crunchy leaves (when no-one is looking)

The good Tv shows coming back
The fashion and the beanies and the snuggly coats and jumpers
Feeling the leaves underneath your feet
Snuggling underneath the duvet with some hot chocolate/tea/coffee and having the fire on

Yep, all that and then some, like waking up to a white crisp frosty morning, as it is so beautiful outside.
