I agree, and BB knew Biggins would not have put up with Bear's antics. Get Biggins out the way and it Bear was free to run riot...and he had.

Yeah, sadly, I think that's probably right. Certainly, it would have been a different series if Biggins hadn't been given the chop. Would he have put up with Bear rampant for the last few weeks? And how would Stephen have coped with opposition from someone who's been on even more reality shows than he has? From the rosy-cheeked god of bargain bin telly? Bear, as a guy who apparently aspires to be everything Biggins is, would have had to work out at least some of the many father issues he so obviously has.
