How is it acceptable that Aubrey assaults bear in the bedroom last night and no action has been taken? Aubrey charges at bear and screams in his face. (No contact has to be made for a common assault).
If a male done this to a female there would be outrage and the male removed from the big brother house.
Yet this is what Aubrey has done and some how this is acceptable?? What do you think?

Karma imo :)

I doubt show bosses would do anything even if she hit him. They just don't care.
That wasn't an assault. Even if BB considered it so, how do we know she wasn't given a warning? Did we see Sam getting injured? Did we see Bear being given a warning for injuring her? Did we see him being warned for many other things which would have deserved a warning? We don't know the half of what is going on in there....

She charges at bear in the bedroom and screams in his face, this is an assault. Fair play to bear he doesn't react and puts his arms up in the air. Even when big bro is calling Aubrey into the diary room she continues. Disgraceful behaviour!

But isn't this what Bear fans want to see....Bear goading people and getting them to react? Or do they just want to see it if nobody gives back as good as they get? :smug:

If big bro had taken this seriously and had given Aubrey a warning they would have aired it.

I was never a fan of bear in the beginning but completely changed my opinion since Renee and Aubrey goes off on one, on more than one occasion and for no reason (granted this is what is aired) but totally OTT!!

I'm glad you know who would be shown being warned and who wouldn't. I'll remember to consult with you if I'm in doubt in future. :joker:

Yes, exactly! No contact was made, and if he chooses to relentlessly goad and provoke, he is also choosing to accept that people will react! They have put up with weeks of the same obnoxious behaviour, and all he has shown, quite pathetically, is that he can't take what he dishes out, and as soon as the tables are turned he sulks and throws a tantrum like the immature child he is.
Poor Bear! I'm sobbing into a tissue fr him as I write!
She didn't touch him for goodness sake! And Lewis showed much more threatening behaviour on a number of occasions and didn't get thrown out.
Bear needs to grow up and just deal with it! Just saying!

The thing is, aubrey was holding the door open and bear tried to grab the same open door. I think it was a misunderstanding but they both looked like they were physically going for each other

He really can't take it, can he? I admit I was surprised by how MUCH he can't take it.

And when housemates don't react, they are described as 'boring' and 'spineless', yet when they do react, they are disgusting and should be thrown out! The irony never fails to amaze me!

You don't have to make any contact for an assault, threatening and or aggressive behaviour directed at bear is enough.
My main point is if a male done this to a woman there would be outrage! And police informed, maybe?
(And this is coming from a female)

How did she assault him???...I think you are over exaggerating...she didn't charge at him...she walked up to him to confront his incessant goading.
If anyone assaulted anyone last night...Bear assaulted Aubrey by throwing a pie in her face...

But why, when this is all we've seen from Bear the whole series? I don't understand that. People like Bear are always going to push people too far eventually. :shrug
You reap what you sow, and that is exactly what Bear has done, and I don't see how anyone can complain after the relentless provocation of others we have seen from him since the beginning of the series.

No he can't!
But I'm not surprised at all, in all honesty. From my experience, people like Bear never can take it! Lewis and Marnie have shown the same pattern of behaviour as well, and can't take it either when they are on the receiving end, even though they relish provoking and goading others.
A bit sad really.

This is rewriting history a little to say the least
However I do agree if Aubrey had tried to leave the room and Bear got up in her face like she did to him there would be hell on about it.

The same way it was acceptable for Lewis to throw a drink in Heavy D's face. No-one has been thrown out during this serious because BB wanted the entertaining characters left in. Only poor Biggins' was thrown out for having an opinion (an old fashioned one but a valid one all the same!)

Please define 'charging at someone'....when you charge someone you run at them...at NO STAGE WHATSOEVER did Aubrey charge at Bear...END OF!

That was wrong but it seems Bear liked it as he asked her to spit in his mouth some days later. And this thread is not about the spitting it's about the argument seen on last nights episode , but hey ho what's new .

If Bear had made a massive deal over it like Renee did with the "for your own sake" comment trying to paint it as a 'threat' then Aubrey probably would've gotten warned for it.

That's the way I read it, too, Withano, but you know how some Bear supporters are when they think he's been the victim of an injustice! :)

So BB are letting people assault each other(since it's their task):joker:

The only person to actually assault someone is Bear when he phsyically tackled Marnie to the ground.
Bear assaults human decency constantly.

It wasn't assault, she just blocked the doorway as he tried to leave and then carried on having a go at him
The only moment of actual 'assault' in the whole series has been Lewis throwing his drink in Heavy D's face with genuine aggression

The other housemates were told to pie Bear and Katie for breaking the rules. If they didn't want to be pied then they had a chance to say so and BB would have to respect that...just like people may refuse other tasks I've Ricky and the eggnog.
Aubrey wasn't supposed to be pied...she went out to pie the other two...she didn't go out for a food fight...she went to do what she was told to do.
She wasn't expecting it...she wasn't braced for it or expecting it.
So yes that could be deemed as physical assault.
But let's get this in perspective...it was a response to someone saying Aubrey assaulted Bear because she walked up to him shouting..

Lol Marnie is his friend. Marnie was also laughing about it so clearly she didn't feel 'assaulted'. The only people who were moaning were the people on the opposite team because they're competitive af and wanted to win the task.

He could so easily of asked for Aubrey to be removed after she spit in his food and BB would of had to honour his request....he was a lot more reasonable than Renee clearly would have been or Tear Duct Katie. Aubrey owes him one.
