SHAMED Jade Goody flies to India today in a desperate bid to repair her tattered reputation after her bitter race row on Big Brother with Bollywood babe Shilpa Shetty.

Loudmouth Jade, 25, also hopes to ease the damage she caused to relations between Britain and Asia through her bigoted rants on the show.

The three-day visit contrasts with her triumphal trip last year to launch her Shhh brand of perfume.

A source said: "Jade needs to pull out all the stops to save her career.

"She has been advised how to put across a better image. But there is still a massive anti- Jade feeling in India."

Shilpa, 31, won the show after Jade was voted out by shocked British viewers.


A pal of Jade said: "She's terrified but she's brave and determined to sort out the mess."

I think that girl needs her head tested if she thinks this will do anything other then make things worse - I dont know who is advising her but if she is paying them then she needs to look for someone else:whistle:

I dont think its a good idea for her to go to India for her own safety. As the source says their all angry and they could do anything.

I'm not botherd what she does now but if they are that angry, maybe going is a bad idea and i thought she was told she could'nt go before.

She will have security and I don't think the Indian people will have taken the issue as seriously. She will help poor people and visit important people so it will be a good career move.

This was bound to happen.

Jade’s on the comeback trail and a part of me wants to throw up. Why can't she just keep her money and any business ventures that she conducts in the future, she conducts them in a low-key manner? No. It seems that she covets the fame and attention far too much to give it up.

Jade will be back, you mark my words.
