Bear was expected so there was no real offence - his show being owned by the same owners of CBB meant it was quite orchestrated.

Helen winning was not at all expected and was, in a way, worse, because it went on to encourage her to be a prick in the next series as well.

And in all honesty I don't think Bear is as nasty a person inside as she is. His is largely motivated by desperation for headlines and childish wind-up tactics, whereas she is a genuinely revolting bitch. Nothing Bear's said were as outright nasty as her comments about Jale, Danielle, Matthew and Ashleigh. Or, later, Brian Belo, Harry and Nikki.
