Does anyone have a VPN/filter to get around the US blocks

Watching BBUSA/US channels I find generally really difficult as I'm not from the USA. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any that work, I used to use Zenmate but it doesn't really work for me.

I don't really understand VPN's or how they work

I can't seem to get on the website sadly, my landlord has a filter on my internet despite all of us being 20 years old
