I'd be first in the queue to slam this remake IF it was rubbish.
However I was pleasantly surprised.
Some really good actors in it too.
But I was most astounded by Jorgie Porter. Totally unrecognisable and she can act.
Very good effort from all the cast and the production team. 10/10.

I watched some old repeats of the original on a channel last year, I found it funny a lot of the time.
This remake I doubted could work but it actually did.
Some characters failed to be as good, the new character in is a good idea but overall it was really good.
I hope it goes on to a new series,I was left feeling I'd like to see more.
Nah, the first AYBS cast gelled so well in their roles, no remake is going to cut it for me.

I didn't even know this existed. I missed the first episode and I'll be conveniently missing every other that's ever made.
Thought it was ok, The Porridge sequel after it, with Kevin Bishop playing the role of Fletcher's grandson, wasn't too bad either.
But last night the remake of a lost 'Till death us do part' episode was not so great, the script of course was good, I didn't like the ghost view set and although Simon Day tried hard to play me, he was never gonna re-create the greatest ever television character. And the support cast were awful.
