Shaun
01-09-2016, 12:38 AM
nah not really, just kinda busted Cheetos

Jessica.
01-09-2016, 12:39 AM
Well, why would I name a kitten after a snack that is basically packaged disappointment, Shaun?

T*
01-09-2016, 12:50 AM
What if the kitten turns out to be a disappointment

Shaun
01-09-2016, 12:56 AM
Exactly, he/she might not be interested in chasing LED pointer lights.

Plus wotsit is a better name than cheddar :hmph:

Perhaps Jessica could call it ginger in Portuguese, make it sound really cute.

Oh my, thanks for all of the suggestions guys. I don't want to name it after a drink tbh. Idk what ginger is in Portuguese but the word for Orange is "Laranja" and that's a very overused cat name here.

We don't have a garden, it will be an indoor cat.

One time my fat in Ireland killed q crow and left it dead in the kitchen during the night, I went downstairs to get water and nearly passed out from the fright. :omgno:

I live in an apartment, I can't do anything about it. I am going to rescue the kitten from a hard life and early death, only downside is that it has to stay inside, I think that's a good deal for the little thing.

I heard to keep an indoor cat entertained all day you can put a bird table outside your window? Do you live on ground floor or like high rise?

My cat is mainly indoor, Gav built him an enclosure that he can climb in and out of from a window plus he comes in the garden with us when we're outside. He wouldn't last long as an out door cat, someone would probably steal him anyway

Yeah our first cat has been with us for a year now but she's too crazy/nervous to walk. I will definitely train the new one to walk outside when we get it. :flutter:

Yeah, you can tell when they are not wise enough to be outdoor cats. My Julieta is so dumb, she wouldn't last a day out on her own. :joker: She tries to eat loads of weird stuff and is petrified of traffic. Sometimes I hold her on the balcony and she acts like she's on her last legs if a bus passes.

She always runs into the hall when we open the door of the apartment but she has never had the chance to walk unaided outside. (she was a month old when we rescued her from a car park at a pet food distributor)

You could try to enclose it with chicken wire or something, especially if you're going to have 2 cats now, make a kind of Catio

Yeah, I've been thinking of that, but I'd have to make it quite high too but I don't want to make it an eye sore either since it faces out onto the street.

My sister fostered a cat and just called it 'Cat' (since she wasn't going to have it very long anyway). I know that isn't relevant but just thought I'd share.

One of my friends called her Cat, 'cat' too.

There were too many arguments in the family as yo what name to give it so she left it at 'cat'.:joker:

You could get one of these:

They're relatively cheap (like £29?) - I have one for my Guinea pig and the cage is really quite tall and it has a cover so it might be ideal for you?
