I'm selling my current PS4 to my brother and getting this one lol, the 1tb HDD is a good bonus too lol.

I'll give it a miss, don't have a 4K TV and I don't need that much storage space.

Don't see much point as i won't have a 4K tv for a loooong time. I'd have my eye on the Scorpio anyway.

Even without 4K there's a large graphical boost. My current PS4 has that weird ejecting problem anyway, so I don't mind upgrading.

Only a 1TB hard drive and completely leaving out a 4K Blu Ray Drive is silly

They're going to introduce an update that makes swapping data from one PS4 to the other 10 times easier, which will help a lot for the Pro

So make your mind up.

No chance of this happening Arista, consoles generations have at least a 6/7 year lifespan (although the 4 pro is muddying the waters a bit there IMO) so we won't see the PS5 until 2019/2020.

It has framerate / antialiasing / lighting benefits over the original PS4 even at 1080... which people will probably think they can do without, however, in my opinion anything released 2017 or later will be quite blatantly optimised for the Pro. Instead of running fine on the original and enhanced on the Pro... it will run well on the pro and run like **** on the original PS4. Basically because they'll have scope for making games look good and run well on Pro tech, advertise it using that footage, and then when it runs like a jaggedy slideshow on the PS4 original they can just say "wwelllll that's because it's older tech...".

I also strongly suspect that FFXV was delayed to take advantage of the Pro, and will run horrendously on the PS4 original (either framerate drops / blurring like in the demo, or a large graphical downgrade)

Getting myself a 4K tv, my current television is over 7ish years old, so its time for an upgrade :3

If my 500 (or 1TB I cannae remember) GB hard drive failed randomly during an update when i'd used about 10GB of it I can't imagine what losing a full TB would feel like
Really put me off them tbh
