Yes but not when they overrule it and go and bring back a total and complete irrelevance because the crowd love a boring, mediocre white male (Max Stone).

Yes. I like seeing people given a seat and then having it taken off them, it's cruel but hilarious.

The whole thing makes it so tense which I love :flutter:

cant stand it.
No. It was good the first year but it's exaggerated beyond believe. Everyone in each category ends up getting a chair at some point until they swap them out and make them have a sing off for the seats and stuff it's ridiculous.

Yes. Apart from the crowd and their 'OFF OFF OFF' chants at people in chairs and worshipping bores like Max Stone who Simon feels he needs to bring back :idc:

No I hate it, it drives me mad, suggesting acts can be through and then chopping and changing them, the very worst part of X Factor for me this is now.

No. The crowd especially ruins it, chanting to bring back bores like Tom ****ing Bleasby.

I love it. It's tense but brings out the best in people, and especially now we have room auditions and not arenas, it's going to be amazing seeing people perform on that stage with a crowd for the first time.
I don't think it's as cruel as people say. If you get a seat, you're stupid to think you're through to judges houses already and then have a breakdown when it's 'taken off you' by someone else.. That's not really the case, you're just a 'maybe' through until the end when they decide if you're in the final 6 or not.

I shamelessly love it

It was really boring last year though because of how long it dragged on

I like the idea behind it but the audience can often ruin it

No it's predictable and pointless. I'd rather have the extra live shows.

Do you remember the crowd booing this girl for no reason :worry:

Grimshaw rightfully sent him home but then gave into the crowd because they wouldn't stop booing his decision and brought him back. Then the blob went on to quit just before Judges' Houses :worry:

Yuck. The crowds on most reality shows are dire.

Yes, but it is kinda cruel and I don't think the audience should have a say tbh

No. You know exactly who's getting through beforehand because they haven't shown half of them, the ones that you've seen from room auditions advance... go figure.

Yes. It's good and added tension when the format was getting seriously stale.
Kind of ruined when you have a spineless judge who gives every act a seat so it's like musical chairs. Or they listen constantly to the teens in the audience.

It adds some tension but the crowd ruin it chanting for someone to be swapped out then boo when someone is. I feel like they need to just say "have a seat" to people rather than "you're in my final/top 6" only to then swap them out later, it's cruel.

I've been to one and it's amazing. I love it

No, they literally just created it for drama purposes but it's a terrible way of deciding who to put through. There's no reason why they can't just all perform first and then they decide afterwards instead of ****ing with their emotions/minds.
Glenn.

Yes. I love the cruelty
