Here you are my sweetheart; my tribute to you of a Gordon Lightfoot song, also covered by Elvis. It's not polished because it is just me singing into the laptop on the spur of the moment, but I did it for you.

Wooden Heart is probably THE most difficult Elvis song to sing, which is why most Elvis impersonators never include it in their repertoire, but I have always loved that song, and my version - bad as it is :laugh: - will be on here, especially for you Suze, very soon. :kiss:

This particular video is of someone singing to the exact same karaoke track which I sang to, and Johnny has wiped out the 'Cowboy's own voice and backing track and used the visuals for my vocals and backing track - clever uh?

There was a little joke to let people think that the Cowboy was me, but if you watch closely he is out of synch with my vocals, and besides - he is the wrong colour, and I am far fatter and uglier. :laugh:

Johnny's just took all the sound from a film clip of Elvis singing 'Wooden Heart' and used the visuals for my 'cover' of 'Wooden Heart', on a thread for Suze.

I'm thinking of doing either Harry Lauder, Kenneth McKEllar, or Andy Stewart. next by way of a love song for you. :hee:
