I'm not understanding their decision at all. Like yeah ch4 offered more money for it but did they not at all consider the consequences of switching channels?

It may be where they made their names, but I think they know more than anyone that Bake Off is a quintessential BBC programme. They're not going to turn their back on the company when they kknow it just doesn't feel right.
