..oh, are these foils, Josy..?...yeah, I've used them for a few years on my toenails...(I don't generally do much with my fingernails other than buff and polish because it's just not practical with work etc..)...but I love foils for toes and they're not that hard to do...I just use a hairdryer to heat them up and they stay on for ages...I've only done the gold and silver ones but you can get some amazing designs as well as metallic...(I have no idea how expensive to have them done at a nail bar but they're not too bad if you do them yourself and last for ages..)...they're also so simple to remove as well../just peel off...

..the ones that I get are Minx, they're a little bit more expensive than some but I have friends who have used cheaper ones and they've peeled off after a week or so...so I've just stuck with these...

Oh I never even thought of the foils Ammi, might give those a try actually. The ones I posted above are the polish with the chrome powder but you can get the silver/chrome polish too with less of the shiny effect.

...oh I'd thought that they were foils but that's obviously a new thing, then...the thing with foils I think is that they're so easy to remove as well and kind to your nails and other things aren't always/polishes etc...I used to use the glitter nail polishes but they're a nightmare to get off and can leave your nails looking a bit sad if you have them on for a while.../foils are really quite kind like that and although they're long lasting, they're also so simple to remove as well, it takes seconds...I would recommend the Minx ones, they're a little more expensive than some...(around £5-ish a pack..)..but people I know have used cheaper ones and they just don't last the at they do...(putting a few diamantes over them as well looks gorgeous..:love:..)...

..let us know what you think of them and how you get on..(I hope you find them ok..)...I just use a hairdryer to heat them, which works fine and the only fiddly bit is smoothing any rough outlines...and a fine metal nail file is good for that...(I did use a knife once but cut my finger..not the smartest thing I ever did..)...
