I would say Co-op, but it's not on here.

TESCO, and probably the other big name ones too, are all really really bad.

Someone was telling me about how us Brits are gonna wake up one day, and Britain will have become 'Tesco Land'.

Tesco are buying up land at the moment, and putting houses on it, rather than letting another supermarket buy the land and use it to put a shop in.

Also, Tesco being such a massive seller of stuff in the UK, can go up to a hardworking farmer and say "We're only gonna pay you half the price you asked for for your produce, if you don't like it, we won't buy from you" - so farmers are stuck working for less than they could be, or they go without work at all. - which sucks.

since i found that out, i'm boycotting Tesco - just gonna buy my bits from my local co-op, and a few bits from asda too (including petrol, cuz my lil co-op don't have fuel station)

People who shop at supermarkets are idiots and dont deserve to live in a free country.

Or maybe they just want to go shopping, and perhaps - have a family and not much spare time because they're working all free hours of the day to provide for previously mentioned family and so they can't be ar*ed to genuinely care about how you personally feel they are idiots for shopping at a supermarket?

Just a thought.

If you dont like it, maybe you should look into why it is a statement of fact.

(Im willing to review the word 'idiots')

To be fair, me knowing why this may be true won't change where I shop - so I don't really mind.

Out of curiosity, where do you shop then?

I never shop in one particular supermarket but you can get some cheap bargains at Aldi. \i shop online and get it delivered. Hate supermarkets:yuk:

I'm agreeing with the Hitman on this one.

I don't have a particular favourite I go into which ever one is nearest. I used to work for Boot's and can confirm that the practices of these shops are appalling. They're just machines in the way they manufacture and produce goods

I also don't like they're stocking policy. They will only stock the most popular items and anything else will ultimately run out. I resent going into a supermarket, that's the size of a football stadium, only to find out that they haven't got what I'm looking for. I've kicked off with the staff about this a ton of times.

Co-op rules! But out of them I'd have to say Sainsbury's, Tescos or Morrisons. There's hardly any Asdas down here, never even seen an Aldi and Lidl is just weird, I've never even gone to Iceland either.

I'm all lost in the supermarket
I can no longer shop happily
I came in here for that special offer
A guaranteed personality

I wasn't born so much as I fell out
Nobody seemed to notice me
We had a hedge back home in the suburbs
Over which I never could see

I heard the people who lived on the ceiling
Scream and fight most scarily
Hearing that noise was my first ever feeling
That's how it's been all around me

I'm all lost in the supermarket
I can no longer shop happily
I came in here for that special offer
A guaranteed personality

I'm all tuned in, I see all the programmes
I save coupons from packets of tea
I've got my giant hit discoteque album
I empty a bottle and I feel a bit free

The kids in the halls and the pipes in the walls
Make me noises for company
Long distance callers make long distance calls
And the silence makes me lonely

I'm all lost in the supermarket
I can no longer shop happily
I came in here for that special offer
A guaranteed personality

SAFEWAY!!!

But then Morrisons went and bought it. I go there sometimes but it's not as good. Out of the choices above I quite like Asda and Sainsburys.

My favourite would have to be Tesco though.
