Nah, I have no desire to oppress myself.
Be free, eat the meat.

I was for 6 months and then I was told to stop or I would be in hospital.
It was the hardest thing I had to do (giving up) but it had to be done. I only eat chicken, I refuse to eat anything else.
I'm kinda regretting it now, becuase it's made me seriously ill, but I'm getting it sorted.
But I do want to back to it once I get the all-clear from doctors though.

Well tecinally you're a pouvo-vegetarian if you only eat chicken! You want to though Soph and thats pretty good! I had another friend like you,she got sick once she started being a veggie so she had to stop.

I've been trying. And trying to eat healthier too, but then that's different. I'm not that much of a meat eater though really... I eat chicken now and again, and very occasionally beef. But I couldn't live without those completely, which is why I'm not a vegetarian!
I have respect for those with willpower and voluntarily give up meat altogether though.

I don't understand vegetarians. I tried it, then I realised it didnt make sense.
Fair enough if people have their reasons though.

^^^ The problem, for me anyway, is that nowadays animals just aren't killed humanely enough in some cases and you can't be sure where the meat you're eating has come from and what sort of process it's gone through as well.
If we had some way of telling, or any special sorts of meats, I'd be more OK with it personally.

I had to stop because I got ill. The doctors gave me a warning three months in and I ignored and carried on for another three months, which made it all worse.
Now I'm stuck with stupid health problems:sad:
I'd hardly eat anything without meat in my diet.

I've been a veggie for a year and a little bit over then 7 months.... god I didn't know it that long. I started a couple years ago but I wasn't getting very much protein etc... And was ill a lot.... tried again July 2005 (remember as it was a week before life 8 I think.) I ate fish for a few months and then deicide to be a full grown veggie. My family think it's a period but I’m going to prove them mistaken.

I'm seriously thinking about becoming vegetarian at the moment. I can't eat meat without feeling guilty about the animal that had to die because of it so i might just give it up completely

I respect all those who are veggies, but I also think that eating meat is natural.I think I tried being a vegetarian for maybe 5 days when i was 12, started feeling weak though, so decided it wasn't for me.

Any girl who wants to be a vegetarian. Make sure your diet is well balanced, and you get enough iron. I have anemia now, and it's horrible.:bored:

Thats a good point, Soph.
Anyone who wants to be a vegetarian usually just cuts meat out of their diet and maybe replaces it with quorn or something without actually replacing their iron supplement.

LMFAO.
I said that, but it was taken way out of context. (And I didn't do the little wink at the end!)
WAAAAAY out of context. Anyway Greg, :nono: Get back on topic, and quick.
That's because you're sick Lauren!
Mmyes, so back on topic.
I eat meat, I'm not really a fan of vegetables and in my opinion, we should all be eating meat. We're meant to, living on vegetables alone can give you anaemia. Think about it, if there was an animal that actively hunted us, d'you think they'd be caring about our feelings? No. That's just my cynical view, anyhow.
