SARAH HARDING is again slugging it out for the Bizarre Caner Of The Year title – after being edged out by NOEL GALLAGHER in 2006.

The GIRLS ALOUD blonde guzzled five huge gulps of potent triple-malt whisky Monkey Shoulder during the NME Awards at London’s Hammersmith Palais.

FRANZ FERDINAND frontman ALEX KAPRANOS handed her the bottle and she glugged like a girl possessed.

After a quick retch and a few tears blinked back she was ready to go again.

It was boozing of a KEEF RICHARDS standard – and a statement of intent to OASIS caner Noel, just a few tables away.

Sarah later carried on drinking with bandmate NICOLA ROBERTS back at their K West hotel – before retiring to bed at 7.30am.

Funny that - I thought she was in Dubai?

I love Sarah Harding. I literally am in love with her. I think she's wonderful and the poor kid needs me to take her under my wing.

I think it's ineveitable that she'll end up in rehab but she going to have a great time getting there,
