this futile expectation that workers are something more than agents of profit for owners surely needs to be updated

if its crap, get another job

or start a company. you are worthless drones, get with the programme

Couldn't have put it better myself, nobody cares until it's their industry targeted, or they've been so conditioned they roll over and accept it as an inevitability.
