Lucid Blue (my short film)

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a short film I made for my Video Production 1 class at university. It's the first film i've ever made, so it was all quite experimental for me. I wanted to create something vivid, surreal, and dream-like. It's very weird, I hope you'll find it interesting/entertaining :laugh:

Short film - like short story writing - is so difficult to pull off, not least because of the time constraints, but you did it and I genuinely enjoyed watching your film.

I think that you succeeded in your goal as far as surrealism is concerned, but were not so self-indulgent as to render the film plot 'unfathomable', and I was 'Hooked' immediately and suitably intrigued enough to 'want' to continue watching - something which does not always happen when I have watched some other shorts.

I think that you may well make a success of your chosen career, if this is your very first film, and I sincerely hope that you do.

..I like this a lot iRyan…I watched it a little earlier but wanted to watch it again…is that a friend of yours in the vid..?..she’s very good also in her portrayal…anyway I’m glad that I watched again because I didn’t connect the first time with what she was watching on TV and then when she fell into lucid dream state…was the nurse in white, representing the white rabbit in Wonderland..?../I love the blue and the red filter effects..and then the connection again with ‘drink me’ and Alice… and her ‘reality’ change again…this is so well thought out..:lovedup:…wow, if this is your first film as well, it’s excellent and very thought inducing…and a perfect choice of sound track also….:love:…(well done to the dreamer, she did a great job and did you proud…)….
