Nicole: welcome to the team Jake special of xtra factor

Rylan: in this special we will be catching up with Jake obviously, as well as talking to his acts and get exclusive juicy gossip!

Nicole: welcome Jake it feels so long since we have talked to you

Jake: yeah sorry about that I have been really busy but thanks for hosting this special o feel privileged

Rylan: are you enjoying this series?

Jake: yeah I'm prettt excited for this series, in fact it's almost persuading me to stay on after all so watch this space

Nicole: and your mentoring the girls and girl groups how do they compare to your overs last time?

Jake: I loved my overs and boys last time I still keep in touch and of course Ruth won, but with the girls and girl groups I feel in my comfort zone I love mentoring them

Rylan: so Lady Luck are now a 3 piece what happened?

Jake: I think there was tension in the group and macy Kate wanted to be a soloist in the end so yeah it's just Cher Lloyd Misha B and Lydia Lucy but it's such a strong group and at least there shouldn't be any little mix comparisons now

Nicole: I agree, it's the results tomorrow who do you think will be leaving

Jake: at this stage it's very open so it's hard to say but I think all of my acts deserve to stat

Rylan: any information on the girlbands vs boybands week?

Jake: I think I'll leave my acts to say what are they performing but it's going to be good and helping with mentoring is Kelly Rowlamd who was in one of favourite girl bands of all time destinys child so I can't wait for that

Nicole: well thanks for talking to us Jake let's talk to your acts firstly your soloists, Emily let's talk to you what did you think of your performance this week

Emily: I really enjoyed it, it was a challenge singing a Rihanna song as it's. it my kind of music but I put my own spin on it and I hope people liked it, this week I will be singing wannabe by the spice girls which is such an epic song and I will make it my own

Rylan: same question to you Ella, you have immunity this week too how does that feel?

Ella: wuthering heights is such a hard song to sing and I think I could have done better so I'm relieved to be given immunity and it's nice that Jake believes in me, this week I'm singing a Beatles track, here comes the sun, it's a lovely song but there is a risk of it maybe being old fashioned but sometimes risks are worth taking

Nicole: now on to you Laura are you worried about the results show?

Laura: I'm so scared I don't want to leave I have a lot more to give, I hope I can avoid the sing off

Rylan: and to our last girl Haley a lot of love for you this week

Haley: I loved the song, creep, it was such a different version and it was very me, I love the fact it's had a good reaction, and hopefully I get through to next week

Nicole: so now on to our girl groups, firstly little Miss Molly you have immunity this week

Little Miss Molly;
Gifty: well I'm glad we got immunity because I think the song was a bit risky it was a little mix track and there was always going to be a comparison
Diamond: I know why Jake picked that song he wanted to show we can be current but it wasn't quite right for us but we did our best
Gamu: I loved the track and we look up to little mix but it just didn't suit us
Rachel: but it's nice to know we are through and we are singing nsync this week which sounds odd but I love the version of the song
Gifty: yeah the song is bye bye bye but it's a jazz version and I think it really suits us

Rylan: on to mystical Forest, a lot of love for you girls out there particularly Nicky how does that feel?

Mystical Forest;
Janet: well it's nice to know Nicky still supports me, this feels like a second home to me I can't believe I'm back I'm so lucky and I'm having the time of my life I love these girls
Abi: it's nice to have Janet in the group she really takes care of us as we are all rather new to this, we all get on so well!
Lucie: yeah thanks everyone for the support, we are pretty unique so we were t sure if it would work or not but thankfully it's working
Hayley: I'm so excited for girl groups week, we are taking on a spice girls song but I think we will definitely put the mystical Forest vibe to it
Jasmine: yeah it's going to be an exciting week I just hope we are through

Nicole: so let's talk to you finally Lady Luck an eventful week for you girls

Cher: yeah you could say that but to be honest we are a stronger group now us three gel really well
Misha B: yeah macy Kate just didn't fit too well in the group but I wish her all the best for the future
Lydia: yeah me too, but I hope we will get through to show how strong a group we are, it's girlbands vs boybands week and the song we have is awesome so I hope we get to perform it we have lots of potential and we need to show owoaje we aren't a Poundland little mix that was so harsh

I just think thats unfair to nicky as it gives us an advantage and we already have more acts then him also we arent allowed to vote for an act to be immune 2 weeks in a row. So from next week we have to to stick close to the rules and the power of immunity will be taken away once we get to the top 12

Jake: they all impressed me actually. I loved laura whites performance she was such a diva and owned the stage why the other mentors didnt love it as much im not sure. Haley was out of her comfort zone but she smashed the song it was brilliant. Ella gave an emotional performance it was world class. Emily gave a really upbeat pop performance i loved it. Lady luck showed their fun personalities and are looking great as a group I wish the little mix comparison wouldn't keep being brought up lady luck are a hip hop rap group little mix are a pop group. Little miss molly were in their element as this is their kind of music. Mystical forest blew me away and they made the song their own

Rylan : so next week is movie week any exclusives for us

Jake: yeah my guest mentor will be Ellie Goulding who has sang on the soundtrack of many movies so she really knows her stuff

Daisy: i love that song for Sandie, and the shrek theme could do well with the public

Daisy: i must say Sabrina is a really nice person, i've met her once during a charity party, could be one epic performance if performed the right way, otherwise a disaster i think

Nicole: im now joined by jake along with ellie Goulding who has been helping jakes team this week. Ellie you are quite the expert on movie songs as you have had your songs featured on a few different films how do you think the acts are shaping up in terns of their performances

Ellie: they all have strong potential they have got brilliant voices I do feel a few of them need to work on their performance skills and confidence and get past their comfort zone and I have mentioned it to them so I hope they take it on board but yes overall they are great

Nicole: who from team jake do you think is strongest and who is the weakest

Ellie: its harsh to say who is the weakest because they all have exceptional talent but I think lydia may struggle this week as well as miss molly purely down to the fact that its like a new start for both acts. The strongest I feel is haley she knows who she is as an artist but also can adapt to all the different themes

Nicole: ok thankyou. So jake is is going to be a good week for your team. Your team has changed recently will they struggle

Jake: im really looking forward to it. Lady luck just wasnt working they are all talented girls but cher is best as a soloist as well as lydia and I thought misha would bring a cool edge to miss molly. I know lydia is nervous but I think she will kill it this week. Miss molly are unbelievable with the new lineup I think they have winners potential now. All the other girls will smash it this week too

Nicole: ok lets talk through their songs

Ella is singing a rihanna song sledgehammer from star trek beyond. Its a fairly unknown song why did you choose it for her

Jake: I love the theatrical element to it. Its very dramatic and although fairly slow again I do think ella can show personality with the song

A recent song for emily the ariana track from the movie trolls. Why this song?

Jake: I love the fact its so recent and current. Its an upbeat song a youthful fun song it will suit emily

Nicole: for laura lana del rey once upon a dream can she do enough with the song to make it interesting

Jake: its pretty myterious and edgy I love the version of it. It may prove risky but a risk is sometimes needed

Nicole: for haley a sia song

Jake: yep california dreamin its such a different version from the original I love the sia version and think it will suot haley I think she may top the leaderboard

Nicole: now a soloist lydia is singing im coming out is thay mot cheesy and old

Jake: well its a fresh take on the song plus its a play in words that lydia is now coming out as a soloist and showing her potential

Nicole: the groups now what have you got planned for them

Jake: mystical forest are singing a song off shrek. It really suits them its my daughter's favourite film so I just had to include it. Miss molly are singing let's hear it for the boy its maybe a little dated but I love it and its a fun song so I think they will do well

Rylan: In this episode Jake and his team will be joining me. Ill be asking what they thought of their performances as well as what they have planned for this week. So Jake how do you feel your team did this week?

Jake: overall they were great. I think a couple of the songs I shouldnt have chosen but I think everyone still performed really well. I dont think lauras song was quite right and probably would have been better to perform it on fright night. It was just a bit slow I think. Mystical forest I will admit I gave them the wrong song it just didnt allow them to stand out. Their wasnt great feedback for ella either but I think she was amazing. Apart from that a strong week. Im looking forward to inspiration week where little mix are joining me which will be lovely. But i will let the girls tell you whats planned for them

Ella: I loved my movie song. It was a rihanna song and it was dramatic I enjoyed it. Im sad the other mentors didnt like it. This week my inspiration is adele. I love her voice and the way she tells stories through her songs that she writes. I am a huge fan. Obviously I couldnt do a slow song again so im singing rumour has it. Its got a great beat and I can be a sassy diva singing it

Emily: I loved my movie song. It was really uptempo and fun. This week my inspiration is ellie goulding so working along with her last week was a great experience. Ill be singing a song off her first album. The songs called lights. Its a lovely song

Lydia: movie week went so well for me. I was at the top of the leaderboard. Its given me a lot of confidence. This week im singing a song by jessie j. I love her unique style and how passionate she is for music. The song is who you are which I really have an emotional connection with

Haley: I sang a sia song for movie week which was scary as sia was watching it but she was lovely. This weeks inspiration song is Rhiannon by Stevie Nicks. She is an incredible artist I have been a fan all my life and I hope my career can be like hers

Laura: I wasnt too happy with my movie song. I just couldnt do a lot with it. But this week I love my song choice its take me home by Jess glynne. She is incredible she stays true to herself. She is very soulful but manages to stay current and is my inspiration

Miss molly: we loved our movie song. It was lots of fun. This week our inspiration is beyonce. She is just amazing we love her and the song is love on top

Mystical forest : we liked our movie song. But we see why jake thought he picked the wrong song. This weeks inspiration song is dog days are over by Florence. We all love her she is an artist we inspire to be. But the song in itself is also inspirational

Alexi: this week a bit happy with Sia's comment, about how she likes me, i will be doing What does the fox say by Ylvis, i am really happy with this fun song, hopefully i can finally impress Jake and Owoaje

Sabrina: lots of public votes, i am happy with their votes, the public inspires me to perform at my best, this week i'll be doing Loca by Shakira, just to repay the public, with lots of fun and party on the stage

Sandie: shrek was good fun for movie week, this week i'll be doing Promise This by Cheryl Cole, i really like that song, hopefully i can do it justice

Jay: hearing my performance was a carcrash by Owoaje, really had me in tears, this week i'm going emotional, passionate with Every rose has it's thorns, inspired by my ex-girlfriend, who left me because i was busy with my career as a singer, meaning every good thing has it's negatives and positives

Rylan:Ladies and gentlemen right now I'm with owoaje93 and his category who are here to speak about last weeks performance and this weeks inspirational song choices

Owoaje93:Hiya Rylan I feel movie week was good my acts stepped up few struggled with the theme I wished I did give the BadBoyz can't stop the feeling by jt that would have been more current and a bit more fun I think the acts who I think stepped stole it from my category was Patrick and Colton who were both sensational and could be potential dark horses

StringPlay:We would admit this week wasn't as good as we hoped but we are hoping to be here for inspirational week this week we will sing Cinderella by Boyce Avenue which is an upbeat song and we think the song works the song is about telling a girl to just just being yourself and no one could do it better than you

Colton:I was so happy with my performance my favourite so far and I love the band U2 this week I'll be singing a song which is really emotional called innocent by a band called Our lady of piece it's a song which I'm hoping to make everyone listening to feel it

BrooksWay:We loved our movie week performance the only problem was the song wasn't well known but we are proud of the song and what we did with it the song we will sing is hold my hand by Michael Jackson featuring Akon its a song we both love and so does are mentor plus who doesn't love s bit of MJ

BadBoyz:Watching the performance was a massive flop vocally it wasn't our best either we are really nervous that we will be in the sing off but if we will do what we do each week and we are looking forward to our performance for inspirational week we will sing fight for this love by Cheryl which is all about fighting for what ever you believe in definately looking forward to that performance

Josh:I loved lastweek so much the song was great even the comments this week I'm gonna have fun with the song stronger by clean bandit which is all about being strong

Patrick:I'm just still in shock about my movie week performance it was that amazing the film is one of my favourites and the comments just fantastic I wanna inspire the judges and the audience with my raps and I wanna make a connection to them now for the inspirational week it's gonna be doing one of my originals called I'm dreaming that inspires me to do what I love
