I don't think so but the PBS part is likely accurate as Older Doctor Who, Downton Abbey, and various other british shows air at various times. (BBC America does show Top Gear, Same Day Doctor Who premieres, and various other shows, some not even UK based like Orphan Black, which is a canadian production.)

I popped at BBUK but I didn't like the skit last night when I saw it, alot of Americans don't even realize that the US version exists since Summer is considered the offseason for TV in the states.

actually it's a british-canadian production
some sci fi channel over there and BBC 3 made it their baby but now the latter doesnt exist on TV it's a netflix original

Really? I knew BBC America was funding at least part of it, so it could be called a BBC America original.

And I didn't know that PBS actually airs GBBO. That's interesting.

(PBS is kinda like the US' BBC but it's funded by viewer donations, intellectual organizations, and the kids shows are sponsored by Chuck E. Cheese)

Yeah... I have never seen GBBO on PBS ... but all the others you mentioned I have :shrug:

I checked which channel it is shown on in the US - it is PBS. I also found out the Irish version of the programme is presented by Anna Nolan who won Big Brother 1.
