On my 12th or 11th, not too sure, my dad was tickling me and so I was trying to escape and then my little sister who was about 1 or 2 came and I kicked her and she fell on the floor and my dad slapped me multiple times. Defines the reason why I don't talk to my dad often

Mess if you went out alone and got drunk you would have had so much sympathy off strangers. Think of all the drinks people would have brought for you.

On my 21st birthday nobody in my family acknowledged it even though there was people at home. I baked myself a tiny cake so my boyfriend could sing happy birthday over Skype but my mother and niece and nephew ate it while I was upstairs in my room on my own. All I wanted was just acknowledgement from people I cared about. :worry:

my 21st was awful. All I wanted was to go out for a family meal and my mum couldnt be bothered to go at first. I finally convinced her to go and she sat in the car in a huff and was texting people with the phone sounds on (and vibrate too) so every single time she typed one letter, i could feel myself getting more and more furious. I turned around and was like '**** it, if you dont want to go out for my birthday then whatever, we will just stay home' so we did

this was when she drank a lot, but shes so much better now

It doesnt seem like a big deal, but I was just hurt that she didnt want to be with family during a 'special' occasion because she wanted to sit on facebook all evening (which is what she did 24/7 anyways lol)

My 16th when about a third of my guests cancelled on me so they could go to some girls party who they'd known for about three weeks (I'd known all of them for at least five years and some even longer, as long as SIXTEEN years). They were informed at a LATER date about the girls party and still chose to go there. Iirc I invited about 21 people and 13 people showed up.

A few days before my 12th bday me and my brother were left in the house alone for a few hours until my dad and step mum (at the time) signed my sister's birth certificate. We were mucking about in the kitchen, just toy fighting basically. I, of course, took it too far and shoved my brother into the bunker but his head hit the corner of one of the higher up cupboards. There was blood everywhere welp. I ran to the toilet and locked myself in there, whilst he raged outside. My Dad had to rush home, without signing the birth certificate, and take him to the hospital to get his ****ing skull glued up. This lead to my party getting cancelled :$

...I never really had a worst birthday as such..I've only ever had one proper birthday party because even as a child, being the focus of attention is something I couldn't bear...anyway I had this one proper party with a dozen or so people invited../I was maybe around 12yrs old/there about...and I was so nervous that I ate most of the Dairylea slices before anyone arrived..(alcohol wasn't an option at that age, so eating myself to death seemed like the thing..)...and then was a non attendant at the bash because I was so ill....
