Haha yeah, although size 0 is actually UK size 4.
Wasn't there some controversy over this show cos she went on and said that being size 0 did make her feel good when she was fitting into clothes?

I think it was laughable. She didnt look anywhere near a size 0 at the end of the diet!:conf: Maybe thats because shes short..i dont know. Anway she looked better imo. I am around a uk 8 and i think i look slimmer than her after the diet

I hope you ladies don't kill me, but I think she looked better after the diet.
However, She did seem to be suffering but everybody knows that crash weight loss is going to screw you up.
On a bright note, I think she came across as a genuinely nice girl. I hope she feels better.
lily.

Jeez.. she looked ill. How can anyone say she looked good after the diet. Her eyes were sunken, her jaws were drawn in. I've seen heroin addicts look better!
The program was really interesting and I think she has a lot of guts and will power to stick to it for 30 days. She was really struggling with it at times, and I admire her for continuing with it to make her point. Although, I don't think everyone gets it by the looks of this thread.
She was absolutely gorgeous before she started the diet and after she was finished she just looked hellish. I don't mean her size either, I mean her shape... it was gone.. her boobs were gone, her facial bone structure was shocking. I found the program to be a real eye-opener, but one of the things which disturbed me the most was the 12 yr old with anorexia. My daughter will soon be 10, and that shocked me to the core.
I agree 100% with Lauren. Obviously me and her were seeing the same thing when we watched the show.
Grit, I wont kill you for your opinion, which you are entitled to.. but I don't agree with it.. (as you can see). Although I do agree she comes across as very genuine unlike most of the WAGs...:spin:

She looked like she'd just recovered from 5 bouts of chemotherapy. Her eyes were sunken, she looked withdrawn, frail and like she had no energy.
And Grit, she had no T&A after. She had no shape at all, infact. She looked much better before when she was UK 8.

hehe so apparently men DO like size 0  Does anyone know Eva Longoria is a size 0? And she looks great
tinkerbell
08-03-2007, 05:26 PM
This program was so furicking pointless! Why did she want to become a size 0? To show people how bad it is....well not really, it was pointless
The only interesting bits where when she interviewd other people and stuff
I dont get people who want to be that skinny....whats the point of starving yourself anb living on frozen peas!
Emilee
08-03-2007, 05:26 PM
If i was a man: haha:
I don't see why why they would like a woman to look that Skinny (GRiT!)
It just didnt look healthy, and feeling ill from it is so bad.
I thought men liked women with curves anyway.

Oh my god. I knew you ladies were going to lynch me. I suppose I've bitten off more than I can chew. To try and explain - I thought after the diet her hips and waistline looked better, the photographer said as much. I know some of you said she looked much more gaunt in her face and I'm sorry ladies (don't hurt me!!!) I wasn't looking there.
On reflection she definitely looked more healthy at the beginning but I think (don't hurt me I'm trying to be honest!!!) she looked more glamorous at the end. Shapewise anyway. It's just my own personal point of view. No hard feelings, ladies.:flowers:
Emilee
08-03-2007, 05:38 PM
LMAO! Grit!!
I suppose so, but being that skinny is deffinatley not skinny, even if she did look good.
Whats wrong with size 10 anyway??
lily.
08-03-2007, 05:43 PM
Eva Longoria is naturally that size/shape. She isn't starving herself to get there. Therein lies the difference.
Take Nicole Richie for example. She's not naturally that size/shape, therefore it's wrong that she starves her body of the nutrients it needs to get there.
I don't think there is anything wrong with skinny women. I don't think they are ugly just because they are small/skinny. But, I do think that women who starve themselves to get to that size, when clearly they are unhealthy at that weight are wasting their time. What's the point in having the "perfect zero" figure if your face looks like something from a concentration camp. There's no sense in self-starvation. Life is much more important than looks.
tinkerbell
08-03-2007, 05:43 PM
Shapewise? What shape lol? a door? If its a natural size 0 and they are not suffering then its ok. But its wrong when they think they should be skinny.
Dont worry Grit everyone likes thier girls differently.

I'm glad you did to be honest. Even though I completely 100% disagree with you. It's enlightening to see that someone out there actually thinks she was attractive at size zero. It's easy to say "nobody likes a size zero bird", but we all know that is just not true. And you have just proved that point.
Plus, a forum is dull without a bit of disagreement/argument.

I don't want you to get the wrong idea I prefer women with curves I just thought for her height and size she looked better without the hips. I wasn't looking at her face cos as they say you don't look at the mantle p....I think I've gone off line.

This show really helped me. I'm going through a phase atm where I'm not eating and stuff (won't go into details). I can really relate with how Louise was feeling, because that's the way I am feeling now (all stroppy, no energy and stuff.) But after watching that show I realised that I don't want to end up like that so I'm going to see the school counceller tomorrow.

No girls ever feels skinny even when we're minuscule!
A few people in my year said this progamme might be bad as girls can see it can be done in only a month. Personally I hope it shows people how bad it is.
