A mate of mine keeps telling me to try the £10 note instead, apparently it's wild

Kids shouldn't be given notes anyway.
..it's a bit dumb if they're ok to go through a washing machine/can't tear/indestructible etc but they can be erased with something that a child uses......poor Elizabeth endorsing dodgy merchandise, when would William have done...
Kids shouldn't be given notes anyway.
...I was thinking about giving the grand-kittens a shiny bright new £5 each for Christmas so that they could go to the sales to get what they want.../dash, darn that plan, I'll have to start thinking what to get them now...

turns out if you turn the pencil around a scribble on the £5 note that also ruins it :o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o

So much for the £20 billion, squillion, it has cost for all those boffins and designers to come up with this 'not fit for purpose' piece of crap, if it can be erased with a fecking pencil rubber.

You best get knitting
it is currency, so if you don't look after it, its your own fault surely. I don't see it as a big deal  Its much better than a paper note, and nothing iis going to be perfect. I mean, its plastic, so don't put it in the fire as it will burn
Common sense is surely the phrase that is appropriate
