How interested are you in it? Is it like the number one story over there? :hee:

I don't think I've ever taken such an interest in American politics [emoji23] it's like a soap opera almost, a bizarre fascination!

It's big news in the media over here too
Of course it's big news - I'm not sure if you've realised but America's ****-ups tend to have a bit of a knock-on effect on the rest of us
I think it depends how you define interest. From a domestic American point of view, i don't think most people care what they do. People are of course interested in international implications of either candidate, but, that can't really be judged anyway .... so its all a bit pointless

Very interested, I always am because I have relatives who live in the USA.

Yeah it's kinda weird to be on a UK forum and talking to people about US elections. It's really no different than at home really. The anger and frustration too.
I didn't vote in the poll because I figured the OP wanted a UK-only response.
Obviously I'm interested, but I live here. I think there's a large gap between interest here and apathy... half are apathetic (let's get this over with...) and the other half are overly enthusiastic trump/hillary supporters. I'm probably in the middle, but I get the sense a lot of people are feeling divided on the election.
Strange times.

I'm really interested but I try not to get too involved since it's very frustrating.
...I wouldn't say that it's had the biggest of media coverage in the UK except for a few of the bigger stories (scandal type stuff surrounding it..)..but then we've had lots of other big stories as well so that would have a bearing and I imagine is the same in the USA when there's a UK General Election...for me personally, I've been fascinated..obviously all being reality TV lovers, which is what the forum is largely about..it's been the closed thing of reality TV politics../merging the two...the candidates you love to hate and can't stop watching until you see the USA public vote them both off...
...the only difference to an intentional reality TV show really has been that Jack_ is usually screaming at us to vote to win the most entertaining, which would obviously be Trump and to vote off the boring Hilary..(well her emails might have some entertainment factor..)...but somehow he's not been doing that this time and I think he would rather the most boring won...

Very interested in how this mess progresses and ways the fans defend their candidate and attempt to sabotage the other.. less interested in the result

It is reality TV meeting politics. This has been the Wild Wild West of politics sense it began last year and I really think there are a couple more surprises in store. Mark my words, this will go out with a bang and perhaps an encore. :smug:

I do care what happens, but at this point I'm bored to death of this mess and just can't wait for it to be over.
