I've seen on other forums where if you edit within 30 seconds it wont show that you've edited it until after that. It would be good because I literally hate when you make a mistake in a post and you go to edit it and it puts the last edited banner on it when it isn't really needed

Just an idea that I thought'd be cool!

they have this on DS so you can edit a spelling error

My biggest pet peeve is when my phone autocorrect puts some random word in my sentence, and before I can change it, my post has been quoted, making me feel like an idiot.

So I approve the concept behind this new feature

Not to mention it detracts from the beauty of our signatures by putting annoying text underneath it, so anything that prevents this from happening I am OK with.

...I think the only thing I can think were it might be a negative, Tom...(and I'm not saying it's a reason not to look at it being implemented as a thing..)...is in games and things where there are a lot of posting tasks and a rule of 'if I see an edited post I'll deem a fail and bring wrath on you'.../so it's a bit of a vital for game tasks as they are atm, so maybe some tasks would have to be looked at as well..?..how to fit in with the change etc...
