Exit poll: White women voted Trump over Hillary (53% to 43%)

This will raise a few eyebrows but for me it's not too shocking.

It may be one of the more shocking data points to emerge from Donald Trump’s stunning presidential victory — more white women backed him than Hillary Clinton, national exit poll data show.

Trump received support from 53 percent of white women, while Clinton got 43 percent, according to the data, which were collected by Edison Research for The Associated Press, the TV news networks, and the New York Times.


That group voted for Trump despite allegations of sexual assault made against him and the vulgar remarks he made about women, and even though Hillary Clinton was in position to make history as the country's first woman president.

White women were a key demographic, accounting for 37 percent of voters.

I listened to a female trump supporter being interviewed on the news today... and when asked how she felt about how Trump talks about women, and accusations against trump from women ... she said, that Trump apologized for his words, and as a Christian woman she is bound to forgive him

..I don't know Liberty why any percentages would be 'shocking'...(sorry I don't have time to read the article in full..)...but it's like saying that a minority are all grouped together rather than being individuals in their thoughts and their minority not ruling who they were or being fully representative of them as a whole person...would all Latinos vote this way etc../no, they vote individually and consider individual things in that...would all females vote this way or against this..?../no, they vote as individuals for their own individual reasons and etc...so 'shocking'...:laugh:...people are people and people are individuals by nature/personality/and voting....
